"James Madison University Softball and Baseball reside in Veterans Memorial Park, located adjacent to Memorial Hall at the intersection of Cantrell Avenue and South High Street. The complex, which opened in March of 2010, holds separate venues for both sports a seating capacity of 500 for softball and 1,200 for baseball."

Fully expecting this to be sold out in minutes. If you are planning on attending, might want to be at the ready on Tuesday.

According to JMU website:

In the event JMU advances to the NCAA Softball Championships Super Regionals, all-session books will be available first to Duke Club members. All-session books will be available for the general public beginning Tuesday, May 24 at 9 a.m. (Assuming eastern time there). The two day, best-of-three series will be held between May 26-29 at Veterans Memorial Park in Harrisonburg, Va. (dates and times to be determined). All-session books are $25 and single-day tickets are $15 per person. Children 5 & under are free and all seating is general admission.

Yep, official attendance was close to 1700 yesterday. The game I watched against Towson was packed as well.

I have a feeling it's going to be rowdy and rocking Friday afternoon

The 500 capacity for softball is misleading/dated information. They have added a big section of bleachers behind the left field fence that appears to seat a couple hundred. It looked like there were people standing in various places, and there looked to be a hill behind right field that had people.

Photo gallery from Sunday. Looks like room for 500+

The seats behind left field probably seat about 500 alone.

It's almost June, why are all of those people in the pictures wearing jackets and hoodies?

Haha Geaux Tigers and we were complaining about the heat this weekend!

It was unseasonably cool and a bit rainy. Temps were in the 50's. They expect mid 80's this week...
