i've been saying this for a while now and glad to see others agree

i am not saying lee is going to be better or has more potential, but JJ is getting praised for his first 6 quarters of play, when if Lee did the same thing, people would be calling for him to be benched

if Lee completed less than 50% of his passes and went 0-2 vs Auburn and Miss State Tiger fans would have been going nuts if he wasn't benched

JJ does that and gets praise and half the people want to anoint him the starter for 09 right now

simply amazing how people can back a thought or support an idea when they have little idea about what they are talking about

it reminds me so much of the blind support for a college playoff it isn't even funny

people all the time say "oh, we need a playoff", hell my mother in law said it a couple of weeks ago and she has been to 3 college football games in her life

sometimes, when people hear something enough they think it has to be true (even without really thinking about it) so they spit the same BS and jump on board

who showed much more poise in the pocket than JL

where do you people get this shite from? seriously?

words like poise, leadership, progression....do you all listen to the same shitty talk radio stations?

did you actually watch the games JJ played in?

his pre snap reads were not very good, which caused him alot of confusion when he was in the pocket.

yes, he ran very well, but he wasnt sure where to go with the ball before it was snapped, and when in the pocket threw with little anticipation and waited for his receivers to get open...when this broke down he ran.....when he did throw he was mostly inaccurate.

yes, he looked off a safety for 1 td against arkansas. i'll bet you $2,000 i can show you tape (film) examples of Lee looking off a safety too? any takers? i bet not!

Lee had drops too...remember chris mitchels drop against Bama?

i don't midn people being critical of Lee, but this shite is ridiculous. why do so many JJ supporters refuse to judge and critique both qb's equally?

you simply cannot argue with this kind of retardedness

hey JJ lovers, ask yourself..how many 2nd half yards did LSU have against Arkansas? what about 4th quarter yards? it is truly, truly something to see!

but i know, when JJ had struggled, it wasn't his fault. it was the running games, or the coaching staff. when Lee struggled, well, it was lee's fault

its too early to read anymore of this crap

jj is not 0 for 2.

the ole miss game is on the shoulders of lee. jj came in when we were down already.

Another reason LSU fans are looked on as stupid.

JLee brings us from behind in 3 games, but gets no credit.

JJ fails to bring us from behind, and gets a pass.

The Ole Miss game proved one thing, without JLee, there was no chance in hell we were winning.

Really, he threw 4 pick 6s against Troy? We were down by 28 pts, koron. I missed that, just like I missed that you have any semblance of intelligence.

His pick 8s are because LSU had a bunch of prima donnas who had won the BCS and wasnt going to get their hands dirty. The same group that let JJs int go for 49 yds.

BOOM

ETA: So our offense couldn't score because Lee was having a good game?

ETA-2: You are boring me. Try to be more entertaining.

And we were down by 11 against Aub, how many pick 6s did he throw that game, 2?

At SC we trailed by 7 pts, but there were no pick 6s

The defense sucked this yr, and JLee was the only thing available that could offset them

His 1st attempt went into the opponents endzone.

One of the many reasons they sucked, was because the offense left them on the field throughout much of the 1st half.

Even when they played their asses off, like Bama, they have a punk kid ruin the whole fricking game.

Why did we lose to Bama? J. Lee.

Why did we lose to UGA? J. Lee

Why did we lose Ole Miss? J. Lee

The most competent QB play we've had all year was from JJ in the Arky game.

We lost because he was sitting on the bench for most of the game?

He had just completed a 19 yd pass when he got hurt?

We lost the Bama game because their DB went 53 yds through 11 LSU players without much difficulty. A tackle anywhere give the defense an opportunity to stop, or limit them to a FG. The D actually played a good game

And to say giving up 50 pts to Ga/Fla was the QBs fault, well I cant help you there

And thats your idea of an intelligent retort?

granted JL struggles just began and at times it seemed he was going backwards... however point is some of you people want to crown a true fresh JJ, KING after 6 qrts of of play (losses I might add) and didnt have near the stats in those same 6 quarters of PT....against same level of competiton. 4 SEC teams.

seriously, what the hell is your problem?? im starting to think you are just a racist a-hole because you wont stfu about this...leave it alone, we will find out in about a week who the better qb is

He did quite a bit of damage in the little time he DID play. . .

I get you now, just like JJ is the 2nd half of Ark. No 1st downs, 4-three and out series, no TDs, a 49 yd int return, and blew a 16 pt lead

Now maybe you can understand why I turn the TV off when our 4th string QB enters the game

You call a QB on the LSU team who busted his arse all year a "punk arse kid" and he has the problem just because he makes valid statements about tempering expectations for Jefferson (who really hasn't shown much yet).

And if Jefferson doesn't shine in the bowl game you guys will throw him out to the dumpster (maybe calling him a punk kid) and start proclaiming a true frosh with no experience the guaranteed starter.

It's all so F'n stupid. Lee could very well regain his confidence. He played well early in the year for a RS frosh. Dude just lost confidence. Some internet nerd living his life out on a message board calling him a "Punk Kid" is complete bullshite.
