The spark that you are referring to in the past 2 games was.the special teams or the defense either scoring or handing us the ball in a position to score. JJ was a liability in both those games. This coming from a guy who supported him for the better part of 4 yrs until it was clear he was not going to improve.
In the NC game, any other coach would give Lee a shot given this spark you like to refer to didn't happen for 3 quarters. Lee deserved it and is, was and will remain a better Qb. No question.

There is a term for that, but it is derogatory to some here. Truth hurts.

Defending miles is the last ditch effort of team Jefferswag.
All they have left.
All they have left.

Apparently, the only people needing hindsight to see that LSU needed to make a change were those coaching on the sidelines. I have yet to see a single defense of the decision to stick with JJ outside of the JJ-knights on this board.

Let's be honest here, if Jefferson were white you would not have given him nearly as much support.
Stay on topic. Let's not turn this into a black white thing. Of course im black and I give equal support to every player on the team if they are black, white, green or blue.

You've gone the Afreaux route, kinda sad you use to be decent on OT

A quitter.
What gets me is he leaves JJ in there with ZERO trust that he can throw the ball downfield.
Why have a qb playing if you don't have any faith in his abilities?

idiots like you can't tell the difference between understanding and trying to explain the same logic Les Miles and the coaching staff uses and homerism for a fav player. If i was you, kid, i'd STFU.
Dude, you are squarely as deep in the JJ camp as some of the others are in the Lee camp. You just can't see it. You have posted the same anti Lee stuff, pro JJ stuff.

To me it's not even about JJ
It's about miles

Give em hell, JL. We're pulling for you.

The goat perpetrated it.
Just saying.
Just saying.

And I think that's why so many can't believe what we saw that night.
Unbelievable and I think most of us can't grasp the rationale for quitting. It's never been seen before in that kind of game.

Truth
I was in favor of sitting lee during the first bama game to get some composure. He was obviously rattled after that hit.
I wish les would have done the same the second go around. JJ was obviously DONE in the 1st quarter.

I'm still in disbelief. If les threw on every down in the 4th quarter, he'd get a little more slack.
But he didn't. He ran the ball and ate up clock like it was the first quarter.

I respect the hell out of Jarret. Hung in there, stuck by the team, and did the best he could. What more could you ask for. Makes me sick he was not allowed in the NC. We will always wonder what might have been.

Just like UF '09. And people jumped all over me back then for saying that it looked like JJ wasn't even trying to win. But he wasn't.
Posted on 1/22/12 at 12:59 pm to Arbengal
Actually it ended well for lee.
He left with people wanting more instead being like the other qb.
