how many sacks does he have this season?

how many defenses have we played that are the on the same level as Bama?

Bama and LSU defenses are just on a different level than the rest of college football

I don't know why, but I just have this feeling that the Bama game will be JJ's game and Miles will give him the some point in the first half of this game.

I know why.. it's b/c you'd rather 9 get the majority of the snaps than 12.
That's cool, nobody is mad at you.
Just dont try to hide it behind some uncleverly disguised football bullshite dribble.

they have as much if not more lateral speed at the LB position than us...not happening.

It's called play action, and JL does it quite well. See Long TD passes to RR in the last few games.

I said that b/c JL is not mobile. A mobile QB who's a decent passing QB is more valuable against Bama.

Since when has JJ been a decent passing QB? Does anyone remember last seasons passing stats from him?

idk, he is fast but not THAT fast. You'll be hard pressed to catch this defense sleeping. Everyone knows what JJ will do when he's in the game.

A good play would be the one RP ran in '07 where he took a shotgun snap, sprinted right as if to run it, stop and chunk in 30yds down field for a TD

We will have trouble running the ball against Bama no matter who is at QB. Therefore, it will be imperative to establish the passing game. JJ was not, is not, and never will be a credible, consistent passing threat.

POTY.

maybe not.. but I agree.

ah yes, but somehow JJ, how so far in his college career is far more likely to be sacked, will have a magical showing against bama.

Your delusion is astounding.

I think Babalama will feel his presence and he will be a large factor in the game...

He hasn't brought it yet, and this is his 4th year.

Bama's defense? You think he can get outside of Bama's defense?

Because JL can't do this?

i agree. Jefferson will play a MAJOR role in this game. his ability to move and throw some is key.

People forget this kid has been steady vs Bama in two years. I like those odds.

09 - 10/17 114 1 TD 0 INT...7 carries 33 yards (before injury)
10 - 10/13 141 1 TD 0 INT...7 carries 28 yards

pretty solid for what we would need to mesh in with Lee.

He won't be "the" key, but we'll probably need him to loosen up Alabama's front seven.

I think we're in trouble if Longeran can't go.

What crow?

You make wild assumptions and predictions based on your "feelings"...which aren't born out of truth or fact.
Hell, I'm not even sure what "prediction" you've made other than saying you like JJ....well that's sweet, but your football analysis is flat out wrong.

I'm supposed to eat crow if you like JJ on 11/6? You like JJ anyway...how is that a prediction?

I agree. If he can't go, we won't have any type of an semi-effective running game.

Pretty sure we will see more of the same of what we have seen. Offense isn't going to win for LSU, special teams and defensive turnovers will be necessary no matter who the QB "star" is for this game.
