How did Lee look scared?

Against Bama's Pressure, He was tentative, not looking off his recievers, hurrying his throws, not sharp at all. He should be okay but tonight, the moment seemed too big for him.

JJ should be the starter period. Have yall not noticed that we have sheltered JL the whole year with option and go routes. How many times have we been in the shoutgun this yr not much. I honestly expected this to happen earlier in the year. Our offense is a one read, o shite offense. If that first read is not there, what do u do. Alabama bracketed that first read all night (which is usually Randle) We finally ran into a team with a good defense, and he got exposed. He had been living on the edge for a long time.

I don't think Lee looked scared. He had an off night.

He'll be back.

Lee made a bad decision and a bad throw but he was also given a crappy game plan.
Our offense is too simplified. It is the achilles heel of this team, regardless of the QB.
We only run about 7 plays.
You can't make this about Lee vs Jefferson. JJ played a key role but he played much more than Lee and we still generated a meager 200 yards.

Money??? how exactly was he money? on his scramble for about 5 yards he had an easy completion to OBJ for 8 yds or more right in front of him, but decided to keep it and run it himself. On the pass to shepard the ball was thrown way to late, he was WIDE open as soon as the FS broke on the under route, should have been an easy TD throw. Our defense and special teams won the game, and JJ did enough to win, calling him money is ridiculous

ETA: basically the only other thing he did was run the option

Yeah he looked like he didn't have too much confidence out there, but you gotta love the guy for what he has done this year.

clearly you are quite knowledgeable on QB play. please, explain to us how close he's been to "the edge" and what plays specifically throughout the season (since you obviously have many in mind) led you to this conclusion?

Didn't say they should replace JL. He should still start. TONIGHT, against this team, Jefferson took charge, bailed us out with his feet. Still can't be trusted to start and play whole game, but I defy anyone to say that we win this game with Lee alone tonight.

Jefferson was so "money" that his severely underthrown ball to RS cost us a shot at the game's only TD. Also, the OC lack of faith in his passing caused us to run 3X in a row late in the game instead of playing for the win. Thank goodness we, like most of 2010, pulled out the in the win, in spite of, not because of, JJ.

For this game only, JJ's mobility and versatility was what this team needed. Tigers don't win without him.

JJ helped us win this game, but outside of his legs and 1 pass, he was pretty damn ineffective as a passing QB.

We needed both and Lee had a bad game. Should still be our starter without question, but I am thankful we have JJ on the team and proud of him.

he sure as hell didnt look scared coming into the game, I do think he just got rattled after the first pick. Second pick was definitely forced. He started the game strong, but we wont face a defense like that or a matchup that big for the rest of the season, so ppl saying JJ should start are complete morons

I will get jumped for this, but...I saw Lee wince when Hightower blitzed, and throw off the back foot again. You and me would crumble if Hightower was blitzing us, but a Division 1 quarterback has to stand tough and deliver the football. I was enjoying Lee's year more than anyone, but he struggled here tonight. JJ provided help with the option, but JJ still waits too long to throw the ball. he missed several open guys. Summary? We will need both guys to finish off the year - neither one is the perfect QB. DEAL WITH IT!

I am behind both guys and pull for both.

the horrible decision making that resulted in one pick and the highest efficiency rating in the SEC, and one of the highest in the country? brilliant argument. And the throwing off his back foot is the ONLY issue with his mechanics, and he's gotten more and more accurate with it. you simply dont have time to set your feet and step into every pass in this league. Thats why they actually practice it in some drills. Were u listening to peyton manning during the Auburn game? he was saying the same thing and actually complementing JL on his accuracy when he does throw off his back foot. but wtf does PM know wbout playing QB...

Ummmm were you watching the same game as me? Both QBs played like horseshite dipped in cocaine... The defense gets 100% credit for this win... Actually 98%... I'll throw in some love for special teams.

JJ was money? Child please. JL looked scared? More like was just flat turrrible.
