He hasn't really impressed me either. He only has once interception but he hasn't really thrown a lot either. And something else that doesn't really impress me is how we seem to have "thrown Lee to the wolves". I know he threw a lot of interceptions last season, but the dude is a gun slinger.

I think he's a good quarterback who will become a great quarterback.

Also, he had 3 delay of games

Not his fault. THATS COACHING!!!!

He is a decent QB. BUT he WON'T take LSU to the heights people here say he will if MILES has the playbook.

He satisfied your other criteria didn't he? Proved he can pass for 200 yards.. it shouldn't matter how he does it

What's more important to me.. is that he did it without the support of a running game. Jefferson ain't the problem -- it's the fcuking offensive line and Miles.

The first deep ball was very poorly thrown and Tolliver had to stop turn around and catch

dude, Tolliver's route on the play was TERRIBLE and JJ threw it before he had made his turn

Without 2 deep balls, he doesnt even throw for 130. The second wasnt impressive because most NCAA QB's couldve made that pass. Also, he had 3 delay of games and we had to waste two timeouts to prevent them.
you just described 100% of quarterbacks

Hes part of it. He's passed for 200 yards once against a terrible secondary. Do it against Florida and I'll be impressed. He still isnt a big threat so teams will continue to load the box and shot down the run.

Ill write to ESPN and make sure that from now on in order to properly judge a quarterback's prowess they can no longer count deepballs. Because clearly, according to you, deepballs should not go into stats.

However a couple weeks ago i recall people saying he wasnt a good quarterback because he wasnt throwing deep balls... now he is... but we shouldnt count them?

im so damn confused

Tolliver has 6 there with a good QB. It was a horribly thrown ball and I wont argue with anoyone that thinks that was Toliver's fault because it proves you are fricking blind

I've been surprised by his lack of arm strength. I think he has the ability, because I have seen him throw a few with some zip. But most of his throws to the outside, look downright timid.

until our oline can block, we're going to have issues. Their ineffectiveness is a much bigger issue right now than QB play
