You act like this is affirmative action or something. You obviously have no faith in Les Miles and his coaching staff to put the best personnel on the field given the situation. It is apparent that you think you know for a fact which player will perform better.
I personally think Miles will roll this back to spring conditions for the QB position but reversing the roles of JL and JJ. JL is the named starter, but he will evaluate practice performances and JJ will get his opportunity in games to advance his starting status based on performance in limited situation based downs.

I will give JJ a huge ovation----when he is gone and graduated. I think many in Tiger Nation have their blinders on--JJ is not a great QB. Les has the chance to really screw up a good thing by insisting that JJ play. And play he will as soon as Les can.

Are you actually equating a player getting injured with a player being arrested? Are you really?
No.

Wait, I just want to be clear, JJ "deserves" to be applauded because he broke curfew (tradition or not), went to a bar, foolishly placed himself in the middle of a brawl, allegedly kicked someone in the head, and has now been charged with battery as a result?
No, I don't think so.

No offense, but with the way you zig zag through logic and reason - you are absolutely the last person on this planet that should be calling anybody an idiot. You got more moves in this thread than Spencer Ware.

That injury/arrest thing was pretty f'king idiotic.

It is pretty pathetic that you and reality tiger are to stupid to comprehend.
I will simplify.
LSU fans should not boo the players (JJ included)
The same fans that would boo JJ are probably the same ones that cheered JL when he got injured. It really speaks more to the intelligence of the fans than anything else.
I couldn't care less if the fans didn't applaud JJ when he comes on the field but I don't think booing is appropriate. Is that so hard to comprehend?

The communication problem is on your end. Whatever brilliance that is contained in that head of yours is hidden very effectively. If you mean something other than you type, it's your fault.
When everyone but yourself thinks you are making no sense, well...it's highly probably that you aren't.

Man that must be spin move #4 in this thread.
And then there's always this gem:

If you want to see the real racial divide, look at the WAFB Facebook page, then come back and tell me if you think the JL supporters are the racists in this. Saying he is a terrible QB doesn't make that person a racist, in fact, it's usually played by his supporters that don't have any facts or stats to back up that support.

Exactly. Topwater Trout is one of those types.
Example:
I would probably say something like this:
"Jefferson needs to develop a better sense of awareness with how much time is on the playclock."
And he would probably answer this way:
"So what, are you saying he's stupid because he's black? Let me guess, you want Lee playing just because he's white and supposedly smart!"
That is a typical reaction I would expect from those types.
ETA: I consider myself a pretty fair person when it comes to race, but I will admit, I absolutely hate people that are that way. And I probably need to be more accepting, but man that kind of shite just pisses me off to no end.

I will never boo a college player. But I highly doubt he will get a warm response.

Because as many as 10 eyewitnesses said he kicked a guy in the face when he was down?

Me neither, for any reason.

No where close to that type man. All I did was say from the beginning LSU fans should give the players the benefit of the doubt instead of assuming they are guilty.

You would be surprised that I am the same way. Don't get me started

I have no doubt there are a few white folks who bring race in the matter, just like there are black folks and wanna be's that prefer JJ. Most people are not like that and anyone...anyone who assumes that the preference for the status quo at the present time is racial is an absolute moron. There were people, and still are that couldn't forgive Lee for his season in '08. There are people who remember JJ's play for the majority of last season as well. Most of the time race isn't a factor and anyone who assumes it is can and should be easily dismissed as a simpleton.

The guy has been through a lot, and from the grand jury's perspective, what he has been through was unwarranted. Most would agree that he is a good guy, not a thug that got away with something. He is LSU through and through and deserves a big cheer.
This is complete BS. He got what he deserves, hes just damn lucky there wasnt enough evidence for the GJ to return an indictment of felany.
Applauding someone for getting suspended from the team for being in a bar fight is absurd.
