Avery Johnson has a better chance of getting on the field than Rickey Jefferson.

Diarse is better than both of them IMO.

I saw Jefferson play and some of his film. He isn't that impressive at wide receiver. Not a big target either. He is a good athlete and I think he will be a good defensive back in a few years. .

I have seen a few games of both and Diarse and Johnson have impressed me. Glad to have them

JJ, do you think you could give me some info on that youth traveling football team that you have been talking about? I have a friend that is interested who lives in Monroe. I'll check for a response later.

LINK Fixed
It's an All Star team, not a travel team. 64 teams from around the nation. Final 4 play at Alamodome the weekend of the Army All American game. Northwest Louisiana's 8th grade team was knocked out in the first round. Southeast Louisiana's 8th grade team was knocked out in the 2nd round. Northwest Louisiana's 7th grade team has made it to the Final 4 in San Antonio. So I'll get to see the AAA game this year.

I'm sure Avery will play, maybe just ST but he'll get out there. I'd be surprised if he redshirts after already sitting out a year.

Well if he just sat out a year he didn't lose a year of eligibility then, correct?

He didn't play a year anywhere or enroll did he? If not then he has 5 years to play 4 if so wishes
