Ott noted today that Coach O will get his contract extension. Not sure why Ott felt the need to say this now? Sensitive period, wait till the season ends.

I'm not against an extension for recruiting purposes but there needs to be either no buyout or at least a minimal one

Seriously, extension for what? He's under contract for two more years. We don't need to pay him more, and he hasn't achieved anything worth extending him.

I’m ok with the extension. I’m never in favor of never having your head coach in a lame duck year.
