Well that's a new one on me... losing a team during warmups.

He was very complimentary to LSU. Glad he didn’t come to LSU though! The only coach who gave zero credit to LSU (in the post game presser) this entire season was that weirdo Dan Mullen.

I thought he was very complimentary of LSU.

I took his tone is reflective of a coach that knows he has a long way to go and a lot of hard work ahead to close a widening gap between his program and others.

One question though, is the 75m guaranteed?

Probably not the entire 75m. However, I assume there is a "buyout clause" for a significant chunk of change if he is fired.

Yeah Jimbo always talks like a stream of consciousness. It’s irritating to watch.

He was. Heck, I wish other coaches would give us the credit that we deserve. Saban, when bama loses, likes to point out that they played poorly rather than credit the opponent.

Jimbo is a very good coach. If he was here, with Burrow, he’d have more success but we have our homeboy O who will live the dream.

His loss

Jimbeaux left FSU in shambles. I like the guy but watching what happened at FSU I could never understand why so many here wanted him as the HC

He’s 4 years younger than O. Early-mid 50s are prime years for coaches. Age isn’t the problem. He’s just never shown himself to be any good unless he’s got a 1st round level NFL QB to carry him.

I was fricking with some aggies fans while waiting in line for a beer. I said, “well it sucks y’all paid him 75 million, but at least there’s no huge buyout attached to it.”

My favorite Jimbo quote:

"It was a tough game, but none of what happened in the game has any bearing on the fact that Texas A&M University still owes me sixty million dollars, regardless of the outcome of tonight's game, or any games over the next 8 years. Thank you."

I can't decide which coach is more finished and defeated between Jimbo and Saban.

I had to do a double take. Having not yet had enough coffee I read that as " They'll be circumcised next time, I guarantee you that."

Which, blowing $75 million on a POS coach is pretty much the same thing.
