I just dont understand why we cant have an announcer that isnt gonna be depressed unless things are going absolutely great for LSU? When has that become the norm for a professional announcer? I dont need him to reflect my emotions...I need him to be grounded and positive. I can be depressed on my own... ...I dont need help.

And for the record, I don't care to listen to Hawthorne anymore because he's not what he used to be but in his younger days, I think we all enjoyed his PBP.

Let Jordy take over the baseball.

Or C. Hani...I don't care. Pick someone else and let them have a go at it.

You da man

and I have to agree with nincompoop up there, I don't think I'd want Jordy calling anything. Hope is one thing. Rays of sunshine up the anal cavity is a little different.

I like Charles, but I like the team they have now. I don't think it's a question that Charles takes over when Jim leaves.

I haven't listened to him for baseball in two years, but I remember then I turned it on trying to find out if LSU was winning. Had to listen for about 5 mins before the score was ever said, but I would have swore LSU was losing badly based on the commentary. They were actually winning by a good margin. I only imagine he has gotten worse.

He definitely can be too much on the negative side.

Good point. For some reason, his name came to me first when I was thinking of who else to put in. Would I have given it another two seconds of thought, his name wouldn't have been thrown out there first...........................or second.

You set the bar high sir. I can't help it if you came to a witticism rebuttal with the enthusiasm of a clonopin OD victim.
