Well, has anybody else really stood out? It is kinda a wash.

The SEC really is a conference of mediocre QB's. It has been for years, with a few notable exceptions.

murray looked like shite when I saw him, so if he is the highest rated qb in the sec then the sec has a bunch of shite QBs.

Lee could have had a great career if the coaching staff hadn't gone PC and let Jordan take over.

According to ESPN QB Ratings Lee is 5th in the SEC....41st in the Nation

1. Aaron Murray Georgia 163.0
2. Tyler Wilson Arkansas 151.0
3. Barrett Trotter Auburn 148.7
4. John Brantley Florida 148.1
5. Jarrett Lee LSU 145.1
6. AJ McCarron Alabama 144.9

Let's look at this objectively:

1. Aaron Murray has played tough defense to date (USCe, Boise State)

2. Tyler Wilson has face 1 (Bama) and the rest were garbage teams.

3. Trotter faced some porous defenses in Clemson and Utah State, but did well against a decent MSU defense.

4. Brantley played against no legit defenses, unless you count Tennessee.

5. Lee has played 3 legit defenses (the most of anyone to date).

6. McCarron has faced none unless you count PSU's defense.

So of the top 6, Lee has faced the toughest road to date, and Murray the second toughest.

Just like Mauck and Flynn carried their LSU teams to BCS Champ, so will Lee

Shouldn't he wait till we at least play a half way decent defense first? If I am JLee I don't want anybody on my bandwagon. I want to get no publicity at all. This is a complete team.

that is a bull shite statement. not only are you accusing our coaches of being racists, you are accusing them of being callous by not playing the best player at the most important position. and you have absolutely no factual basis for this accusation; you have attended NO practices, you do not know the first thing about this situation. if fact, YOU are just making this up and probably because YOU are the racist.

This is possible. I've heard a lot of things the Rant has come up with lately on the mainstream. Don't know if they are fans, or just riding the recent wave.

These ratings are comparing apples to grapefruits. None of the other QBs have put up those numbers against 3 ranked teams (two of which will likely with their conference).

I do not know if Lee is the best in the SEC, but these numbers do not prove that he isn't.

I think they have been playing the inferior player, but it is probably because Miles was determined to play a QB that could run.

Seems obvious that the much better QUARTERBACK is playing this season.

Nothing to do with PC if the guy even knows what the term means. Playing QB for LSU have nothing to do with RACE. Who is Miles or the coaching staff being PC for??

Not the majority, but you're kidding yourself if you don't think some of them wanted Lee to fall on his face.

That number is no where near the number that wanted JJ to fail.
