I was in section 107 on row 5 and I thought the crowd was loud and represented well. But it wasn't as loud as many of the LSU games that I have attended and it wasn't the constant volume that I remember at TS.

Cowboy Stadium was nice, but the PA system sucked where I sat. You could not here anything even pregame when it was quiet.

I was down on the actual sidelines. LOUD AS HELL. Don't know how the Oregon players heard anything.

Thanks Skooter that was what I was trying to understand. The acoustics did not seem to carry much crowd noise up to the upper deck. I have sat in both the WU and EU at TS and they are definately louder even with a ULL crowd.

+1 Which surprised me because you usually don't hear the crowd noise on TV. I figured if we heard it on TV it must be pretty loud there.

I was in the 200's and it wasn't as loud as the loudest I've heard in TS, but louder than the average game in TS. That was one pumped up crowd from my vantage point.

It sure seemed loud on tv but I'm sure it needed the dome's help. If there was 30k of us then that's a lot less than what we have in TS.

Any upper deck is not loud because the sound is projected down. I've sat in the 600's for a few years in TS and I can hold a cell phone conversation while we are in defense. In the lower bowl I can't even think at times.

The noise in J World does not travel upwards from level to level.

JerryDome crowd noise

I was in the uper deck

I was four rows from the top of the stadium. I thought it definitely was a Top Twenty loudest stadium I have ever sat in and that covers 40 years of watching college football.

At the beginning of the game, I saw folks covering their ears. Several folks around us were covering their ears when we cheered every down. I have to give it to them, they never said anything to us but they did leave in the 3rd quarter.

Loud at times. Not near as loud as the BCS championship. Not saying it should but we had an equal amount of fans for both in domed stadiums.

It was plenty loud!

First off TS holds 94K of LSU fans

The crowd at Jerry World was 87K with about 20k of those being UO fans.
