This charge is the best outcome for him, but the judge could give him jail time for breaking the terms of his probation...we shall see.

This should be the case. Depending upon the situation, not everything should involve game suspensions. He has been suspended from the team during the off season. There are other things he can be punished with.
Let's get this team together and take care of business and not have everything be a major meltdown. Considering the situation, I am fine with him not missing any games. One hit from a college kid in a bar with someone starting trouble can be dealt with in a lot of ways that do not involve game suspensions.
