If there was a coach or maybe a particularly rabid booster of a rival SEC school who wanted to sow discord and instability into a particularly dangerous rival team (like LSU), might that coach or booster not find a way to "encourage" ($$) some BR-based local to utter provocative words or in some way pick a bar fight with certain targeted key LSU players? The hope being the local might get the shite kicked out of him, the offending players arrested and maybe suspended or kicked off the LSU team, and the result being a much less solid Tiger team in the fall.
Please read this. We have a Alex Jones-lite on our hands

Sounds very similar to JJ-Shadys IMO. I know the n word is wrong but I wish the guys (with and including Hill) were smarter and more mature than to get baited into something like that and jeopardize their careers.

I don't think anything like this is as far fetched as people think. Multi million dollar jobs are at stake.
Having said that....If a player is stupid enough not to understand he is a target and that playing football at LSU is both a privilege and honor then that player or players have to kicked off the team IMO.
Sorry but this type of shite should not be tolerated.

I said this guy deserved to get his arse beat, but I wasn't making a blanket statement about every single situation that can come about

Now we have to watch out for rivals infiltrating BR with provocateurs? Damn.

From the perspective of a LEGAL "FORMALIST" one never has the right to react violently to insulting or inciteful language.
From the perspective of any human being above the age of six, if you call a large group of young black man "ni**ers" you can expect to have your arse kicked into next week.
Ask yourself if Coach Miles, the public at-large, and a jury of his peers are legal formalists or flesh and blood humans, and you will understand where this goes.

Yeah it's a misdemeanor battery and should be.
It is also emminently easy to understand and forgive by all but the most hard-arse law and order type.
For instance, I've had my arse kicked and known I had it coming for being mouthy.
Many here probably have too.
(And just For the record this Racial Narrative sounds wayyyy to convenient)

I don't know what happened .
In All the interviews I've seen of Hill he seems very articulate ,intellectual and a nice guy.

No doubt.
Seems like a nice guy.
More importantly, he can tote the rock for LSU.
*keepin' it real for The Nanny Brigade and their sister-groups The Wagging Finger Squad and The Holier Than Thou Morality and Decorum Enforcement Squad.

72 pages and counting over a guy getting in a bar fight. Sigh.

Yeah, that's my main point. I realize it is a crime, but I don't think the crime doesn't fit the situation.
