Well if Harris ain't pushing him that doesn't bode well for LSU.
I don't mind AJ being our QB but he damn well better improve A LOT or LSU will suffer.

Les/Cam recruit high school spread QBs and plug them into a pro offense, and then are more confused explaining their reasoning after each crappy performance than the kids trying to intellectualize a forever foreign offense.

is this miles' fault? after every game miles spouts off of how great Jennings played when his stats are 9-21 105 yards 1 pick. Jennings has the mindset just like Jefferson did, I am the starter, therefore I don't have to improve, because im not getting pulled
This is just not true. Nearly every post game press conference Miles said we need to improve at the QB position. Just because he doesn't throw his players under the bus doesn't mean he's oblivious to their struggles.
And if you think he only plays favorites or upper class men, you clearly don't follow this team at all.

hopefully he improves a lot between now and the fall. Mett did.
Mett improved because Miles fired Studrawa and brought in Cam. AJ has already been under Cam for two years.
AJ may improve slightly, but I think we're seeing what he is.

I'm just trying to be a realist man. I've heard from somebody close to the team that Harris is the better guy in practices and that teammates agree. It's just frustrating knowing that and not seeing the product on the field if true.
And yeah go Pels

He watched the previous years. He knows if he completes 45% of his passes and has a great TD once every 3 games he will be the starter until he graduates.

All it takes is for one reporter to follow up these statements by asking, "Do you think the poor performance of your play has warranted such firm commitment to you starting?" "

AJ,,,,Please don't take the JJ path of self loathing and attitude.

someones awfully entitled.
jennings is not even likeable anymore. and he used to be.

roll your eyes, but that's a pretty divisive comment to make for the "leader" of the team

completely different QB. You literally could not make a more poor comparison of 2 QB'S.

That is part of the reason JL did not look as sharp against Alabama.

The game before Alabama in 2011 saw Lee complete 14 of 20 attempts, two TDs, 170 yards for a passing efficiency of 175. Lee looked like shite against Alabama because Alabama almost always made him look like shite.

But the scorn directed at Jennings this season has been of a particularly virulent strain. He’s not only been ridiculed but has gotten physical threats via social media from “brave” souls who hide behind a keyboard and a fake name while he has to risk his hide every Saturday being pursued by real dangerous dudes like Dante Fowler and Preston Smith and Trey DePriest.
what kind of stupid shite is this? because we don't play QB for LSU we can't critique?
unreal rabalais

1. The Jefferson-Lee QB battle is not similar to this at all. Jefferson and Lee were both much better than Jennings. Also neither one of them looked appreciatably better than the other. Harris has shown flashes of being much more talented than Jennnings.
2. While Jefferson was mediocre at best as an SEC QB, Jarrett Lee was equally as poor. Why we have fans that perpetuate the myth that Lee was better than Jefferson is ridiculous. They were equally as poor it is just one had the ability to move when our OL got abused by Alabama.
3. Jennings is absolutely the worst performing QB I can remember at LSU for a player who continued to start.

With a smaller sample size- if you want to compare statistics, then let us compare stats against equal teams in equal environments:
Jennings vs Miss St: 13/26 157 yds 0 tds and 0 ints
Harris vs Miss St: 6/9 140 yds 2 TD/1 INT
We all know who played better that game-Harris nearly won us a game that was down the toiler
J vs NMST 2/5 with 3 TO's
H vs NMST 11/14 178 with 5 TD's
Even Kragthorpe was better than Jennings in that game
J vs AUB(In clean up time-if you want to use that excuse against BH for Miss St. it applies here as well) 5/10 84 yds
H vs AUB: 3/14 58 yds
In the sample cases Harris has been better- Im not saying that Jennings shouldn't be starting-even though that is my opinion- but the stats show in the same environments Harris did better on average than the obviously mediocre Jennings.
