Yeah, cause there were many people out that night "out to get" Jefferson and faked witnessing him kick someone in the face.
Many? I was under the impression that it was only the girlfriend (and perhaps Lowery himself?) claiming that JJ kicked him in the face. Are there others? If not, do you rule out the possibility that she is lying or mistaken?

Just because someone says " they didn't see" Jefferson kick someone in the face doesn't mean it didn't happen.
The burden is to prove that he did it, not the other way around.

Lol Unglesby is one of the last lawyers in BR that needs to "try to make a name a name for himself"

None of us know. Only thing we do know is those paid to make this decision feel they have enough to get an arrest warrant (and search warrants approved by the judge).
Somehow that is just a sign they are evil, incompetent, blah blah blah.

My, aren't you a clever son of a bitch... Why do you feel like you can say anything and it be ok but if somebody has something different to say then let's make fun of or insult them? Are you 12 years old?

Quit screaming to the media and get your butt into the court room and defend your client there, where it matters.
Maybe he'll do that WHEN THE TRIAL STARTS!!

I heard a little of the aftermath on 870 just a few minutes ago, and I have to say he makes a very good case as to why JJ should not be charged.
That not withstanding, I think you have to suspend a player when they get arrested for battery no matter what you think actually happened.

Nah I'm not mad. But I do find it funny that as soon as someone disagrees they are a pussy or an a-hole etc. Someone was on here yesterday calling Lowery an a-hole. I simply asked if they actually knew him and you'd thought I'd raped the posters Mom... not that it matters to the situation at all but i'd like to see people state facts or give opinions without all of the name calling. At the end of the day, we are all Tigers.

No, it doesn't. Obtaining a warrant requires a showing of probable cause.

I hated everytime I heard the Lowery lawyer spew his version of the events from that night, and I have to admit, that I now hate everytime I hear Jefferson's lawyer spew his version of the events.
So basically, Mr. Clean Marine is a d*mn fine American who was doing his civic duty by helping some stranger who was being brutally attacked by a gang of LSU football players. Meanwhile, Jordan Jefferson was trying to stop this same gang of football players from doing any harm to anyone and he was actually trying to get them back to bed because it was past team curfew.
Wow, it's so unlucky that two perfectly innocent young men were so adversely effected by this angry mob of LSU football players that were out just terrorizing any person that they crossed paths with that night, except for Jefferson, who was drinking his milk and reading his Bible.

I thought I remember either hearing an interview with Lottery's attorney or read an article that early on in the investigation he claimed his client, Lowery, was never in the bar and he was there to pick up friend. Does anybody recall that? If so, his credibility is shot in defense exhibit #1.

That's funny. I do remember that. Maybe that was his doppelganger that they caught on video harrassing the woman in the bar.

There are more people lying to protect Jefferson,
we do not need him. We have a QB.

It's OK to debate whether we need him, but to say the former as fact to support your opinion is just chickenshit and fricked up.

but he still has not been charged, is that correct? this whole story is starting to stink to high heavens from every possible angle....and I am even inclined to believe JJ is getting a raw deal here as it pertains to his actual crimes and the resulting suspensions that ensued.
