The line about can't imagine someone else going through it is going to bemis interpreted. Pretty sure he's saying it as if "I wouldn't wish it on someone"

All of the JJ defenders need to stop

To be fair shouldn't the JJ attackers stop too? What give them an open season license?

The QB is the leader of the team, and leads by example. As such, he is held to a higher standard than anyone on the team. If anything, he owes his teamamates and coaches an apology.

I am assuming here that you have certain evidence that he hasn't apologised to the team.

And when you spend your entire offseason investing in the development of a key player, there is a risk involved when hes made unavailable, otherwise that time would have been better spent focusing on another player.

That may be the least logical statement I have read during this entire affair. Do you believe that the entire coaching staff's total attention was toward Jefferson and none to other players? Especially in football when any one play could end a career, the need for quality back ups is paramount. Reference: Florida.

Ok so why does he have to apologize to you or anyone that posts on this board?

Honestly, you dont think he is sorry for the situation?

And you know damn well Lee has been getting reps for the last 4/5 years he has been on the team. They were going to use 2 qbs this year regardless, now we have used 3.

Oh, come on!

I think that was a dumb statement (I even posted it followed by "yeeesh") However, we all understand he wasn't comparing to THAT.

you don't need to, you can just agree with the opinion as it is something that should be done because that is what adults do when they screw up... whether or not he did so is a separate issue

We have no evidence that he hasn't, so saying that he should is an assumption and not backed up by any facts. Making a qualifying element is baseless in that regard.

I dont care if he apologizes to me or anyone on the rant. I do think he owes it to the team/coaches.

Anyone who has an ounce of PR sense apologizes and moves on. Theres a point where continued denial just makes you look stupid.

He is a twenty something year old. Give the guy some slack. I am sure everyone who is criticizing every word out of his mouth is a polished speaker in front of a group of reporters.

Frankly, there are a group of posters who would only be satisfied if JJ said "I am an ax murderer and I am resigning from the team immediately."

TBH it's like Miles is setting this up for JJ to take over eventually...
