not blaming him at all but i wish he would have overridden the coaches like he did against UGA and audibled to a running play from the 32.

That's what JJ says about what he saw surrounding him during the last seconds.

And this is not unexpected !

Speaking for me personally, I must say that the LSU football team, particularly the offense, constantly looks confused to me. Constantly and consistently.

The phrase "Chinese Fire Drill" comes to mind.

or at the least call two plays in the huddle and give a situation update.

hey if we get the first down and time starts running before we get the fg unit on, then run Ace roll 735 cross.

I couldn't disagree more.
He was doing what his befuddled, moronic coaches told him to do.

We wouldn't have been in the position to win that game had it not been for JJ's pass to Tolliver.

Time ran out before the snap. A FG would have been overturned on replay. The Hail Mary was supposed to have gone to the EZ, not the 6 yd line

I blame JJ for taking the sack to get us out of FG range. I best offensive player this game was not given a chance because of that sack. However, it didn't help that our coaches couldn't get their act together with time running out. No excuses period.

the hail mary - somebody came free and unblocked up the middle.

If they were under control they could have snapped it for the FG as soon as the refs marked the ball ready for play. As we saw, they were too busy looking over to the sidelines to be ready for the snap.

Actually, JJ threw off his back foot because there were 2 defenders in his face.

Yeah, I almost thought Hank Stram was the opposing coach.

I can hear him saying: "Kassulke was running around like it was a Chinese fire drill."
