Then you are part of the problem.

I must be doing something right if I have detractors like you who make it a personal thing if our opinion does not agree with yours.

I guess you haven't figured out that stupidity draws more response than logic on this site.

But some of Lee supporters are negative and never satisfied.

The guy played as well as anyone could have asked of him up until Bama, its just not right to bench him based on what hes done all year.
Miles' loyalty and emotional attachment to 1 over the other is painfully obvious.

brad wing, the defense, and drew alleman would like to have a word with you.

frick, stop being so literal. Yes, the defense and special teams were more important than anything else. But this thread is about Lee and Jefferson. In last weeks game, if Lee continues as quarterback, you would have a difficult time convincing anyone that we would have still won the game. My problem isn't with JJ or Lee, both should play.

My problem is what our playcalling was with JJ last week against Bama and how that completely changed last night against WKU.

Not me. The guy got hurried and made one bad throw on 3rd and long, it barely costs the team anything, and then he loses his starting spot.

You seriously telling me you don't think Lee would have led LSU to a couple of TDs if he hadn't been the solid #1 QB the whole game? Come on, man.

Wow...just wow. So instead of intelligent debate about football, we're going to go back to 2009 with nega- posi- tiger name calling!?! Awesome

Based on what I saw in that game, I have zero confidence that Lee was going to lead us to a win. I thought he should have been put in the game, possibly on our last drive of the first half, to throw a fade to Randle, but Lee instilled no confidence in his two interceptions that were back to back. He wasn't there mentally.

After getting taken out the game for an hour after one rushed decision, no, he wasn't.

Didn't seem to be there at any point. Deer in the headlights is an understatement. He has performed great in difficult environment/big game atmospheres before and brought us wins that JJ would not have been able to do (UF last year), but Lee wasn't in that mode last week.

haha it really is one guy or the other with people on this board.

True. But he doesn't deserve to lose the starting job because of one bad performance. Especially when Miles stressed the importance to helping him regain his confidence.

How did what we saw last night help Lee in any way to get better? It didn't.

Bull-frickING-shite.

This is what pisses me off. Lee was doing just fine before that bad snap. He didn't do anything wrong, and yet assholes like you throw him under the bus because you get a bad feeling in your stomach about him being in the game.

So what? frick you.

And I agree with this as well.

Look, I'm not a JJ or Lee guy, which is what most on this board would fall under. I see them both as guys that can help us win in certain situations. We've been successful in our utilization of both guys in certain situations up to this point. We seemed to move away from that last night, and I don't understand it. Some have told me to stop looking into it, it was WKU, it was a scrimmage, etc. but I'm not buying that. Lee had a horrific game last week and his psyche isn't helped by sitting nearly the entirety of last nights game. The fact we didn't have many opportunities in the first half didn't help, but it happened.
