I hear ya, but do you really think having Jefferson throw it around is going to produce better results. That's the point. I'm not saying Lee is Elway. I'm just saying he's the best we have right now. In fact, he's the only option. Playing a true freshman big minutes against Saban's multiple sets, is a arse whipping waiting to happen.

Jefferson taking more snaps means that Miles is not confident in Lee.
or
It could just be because Jefferson is now our #2 QB and if Lee gets hurt, he's all we got.
but I am fairly certain JJ will see game time vs Bama. He will come in the game and run a very predictable option play.

false.

JJ is our #2 Hatch is hurt. With JJ we have a legit running threat. Just like RP did against Va Tech, fake the run and hit Doucet wide open. It will work. Besides we'll have an idea of where he is mentally if he gets significant PT.

Hatch is definitely hurt, FYI

Exactly. I hope Alabama starts Star Jackson (I think that is their true freshman qb recruit from last year) Please, Saban, start Jackson. This board is ridiculous sometimes.
You comparing a senior (JPW) to a redshirt freshman (Lee) is equally ridiculous, FWIW.

Someone on another board has stated that number 1 and 2 QBs at LSU have always split time with the first team since Miles has been HC. This really isn't a big deal since they both end up splitting reps with the 2nd team as well.

a fast running QB is a lot different than j lee or hatch
are you implying that jefferson is a fast running qb?
i mean, he is about as fast as tebow or mccoy, but probably not as strong right now as either one of them. not that hatch is either, granted
JJ is probably a bit quicker than Hatch, but i certainly wouldn't call JJ fast

Miles said true freshman Jordan Jefferson has taken 50 percent of the snaps in practice this week and is in line for playing time against Alabama.

He threw the ball very well, honestly
Didn't he say this same thing prior to the Tulane game that Jefferson will see a good bit of playing time. Miles is just saying what everybody wants to hear. But Les is too much of pussy to play Jefferson because of the fear of him doing good and people questioning why he hasn't playd more all year.

The more he's in the game the less likely Lee directly gives the other team points.
This year alone he's directly given the other team over 35 points I believe.
Put it in perspective. He puts the most points on the board for LSU.

I wish they would play him so next season we don't have an inexperienced QB again
Don't worry, our starting QB, Lee, will be experienced next year.

This makes so much sense it doesn't even make any sense!
In other words, you are stupid. Les is holding out a kid that is better in practice (presumably) because he doesn't want to be criticized for not playing him sooner? Really? You think we'd be undefeated and have won all of our games 75-0 with JJ?
