JD has to give his playmakers a chance

I’ve said it before and will say it again, if the defender is not looking back the receiver is open. LSU has studs at the receiver position and they are being terribly underutilized. JD rarely throws someone open, regardless of the time he has.

He cant do it. He's in year 4 of his college career and the light hasnt come on.
He was highly rated out of HS and has plenty of playing time to develop his craft and it hasn't happened.

Denbrock has to run plays to give JD a chance to get the ball to playmakers in space.

He’s not the future and this isn’t the year. If we’re gonna take the lumps in 2023 and “rebuild” let’s do it with a QB who offers us a future.

He had a better game today. There were flashes of assertiveness and emphasis on his throws.
Fans are arguing whether it's JD or Denbrock. It's both. The scheme isn't the best and it doesn't set up JD for success.
There are flashes at times, but the entire offense is a mess. We have the same issue now that we've had for decades at this point. The OC's do not come out with quick easy throws to get the QB into a rhythm.
Get the QB and receivers into game speed with easy completions and then build up. It's infuriating to watch especially with a struggling QB.

6.7 yds/completion today has ZERO to do with Denbrock today. He refuses to throw into open spaces. He is just gun shy. That dude needs to channel a 2008 Jarrett Lee.
