Too short to be a fullback? 6'1"? I didn't realize height was a requisite for a fullback.

He was recruited at LSU and UGA as a DL.

JC was supposed to be a Defensive Tackle so turns out UGA was correct . Who knew he'd turn out to be a badass fullback

He was a D-Lineman coming out of High School.

and I have a little chip on my shoulder about that.

Odds of a drive killing, probably game throwing (and national championship hope ending) stupid, away-from-the-ball personal foul just skyrocketed.

Argh. He was a DL. Richt didn't have the foresight to look at him for other positions.

Kind of ironic, but Georgia has their own version of Copeland - Quayvon Hicks 6'2" 260lb. His stats for the games against Clemson and USCe are pretty impressive. Hope he doesn't outshine Copeland.

Hopefully that "chip" doesn't lead to an all too common personal foul by our All American full back. I hope the guy punishes UGA between the lines, between the whistles, within the rules.

I'm OK with a personal foul or two from Copeland. It sends a message!!

I wanna see him crack a helmet ingame. would be legit!

Refs would call a targeting foul on him and he'd be done for the game. I want to see him break some bodies sternum.

Copeland was recruited as a DL and moved to FB.

I didn't want to be left out...

That message is sometimes, I want to undo Jeremy Hill's 19 yard run or Odell Beckam's 20 yard reception.

Their best chance to erase that dubious stat came midway through the second quarter, when freshman running back Jeremy Hill scampered 19 yards to the Alabama 12-yard line following a Tide fumble.

Fullback J.C. Copeland drew a 15-yard personal foul penalty after the play and LSU failed to convert a curious fake field goal on 4th and 12 moments later.
