It’s the SEC tournament. Calm down.

You must not follow college baseball much if you think sitting Jump for the first game of the regionals is shocking

Y'all never fail. Pitching has been more than fine lately. LSU is not in a must win position.

We aren’t pitching our best pitchers available. It’s a business move for the regional. These guys should not pitch in the post season, but it is what it is for this tournament

Who is available that he isn’t pitching? We are OUT of pitching.

Not necessarily pitching coach's fault. Some guys can't find the strike zone even after lots of coaching. Heck, Moffett and a couple others on this staff can't find the side of a barn.

So him pitching today means he can’t pitch in 6 days?

On paper sure, he can pitch. Just weird how no coach would pitch his ace in this game. I’m sure you know better, though

This fanbase is hysterical.. If you have an offense that can put up 10+ on any given day, the pitching doesn’t matter nearly as much. SC is hot right now. We have nothing to play for.

Jump could pitch today and Holman tomorrow if this game actually meant anything

Wait. So you’re saying Jump not pitching today is a strategic decision by the staff to have him ready for Friday?

Just want to make sure I’m following you.

Not many college baseball teams have the pitching to win 4 games in 5 days. We beat UGA, Kentucky and this SC team the first 3 days. Go frick yourself.

SC has played 1 more game than LSU has and beat Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky and used just as much if not more pitching than LSU…….so you’re saying that SC has waaaaay better pitching than LSU?

Yes. Jay is not going to start him twice on short rest in the SECT, then again on short rest in the NCAAT, where the games actually matter

Or their hitters are making our bottom shelf pitchers pay and our hitters aren’t. Their starter could not locate his breaking ball and we proceeded to pop up every fastball thrown to us

Lol. He pitched 100+ pitches on Tuesday. There’s no way he was pitching today even if this was an elimination game in a regional.
