Odd Den gave Nuss some quick hitters. Did JD get the same calls and just didn’t execute?

Wait, so you think the OC has better plays for the backup?

I knew we were in for a long night when JD tried to run and got dropped at LOS on first snap and had TWO wide open check downs. Would’ve been an easy 5-7 yard play…. But nope, happy feet be happy

Kid always pulls it together in crunch time and he protects the ball. WRs didn’t do him too many favors tonight.

Considering he’s never done them a favor once they can call it even I guess

First road SEC test. I’m not that surprised.

Well, it sort of is since he was over 70% completion before tonight
Yeah because he refuses to throw the ball down the field or to anyone in single coverage.

He's terrified of turnovers. He's fast but we have no passing game with him. More defenses are going to load the box and dare him to throw.

Odd that the OC gives the backup some quick hitter to get in the groove of passing the ball?

Not that Nuss did any better, he was statistically worse. Of course he wasn't helped by the receivers either.

He seemed rattled by the venue. Hostile, loud environment on the road unlike anything he’s ever faced. It’s concerning because that’s virtually every away game in the SEC.

Let’s call it like it is:

JD was absolute dog shite last night. From decision making to accuracy. Everything.

Hopefully he gets better but I’m starting to think he is who he is. Maybe not as bad as last night but a below average SEC QB.

GN will never be lsu starting QB minus injuries unless he improves tremendously by next year.

I hope WH is as advertised or we will be looking at another transfer to lead us next year.

He is a serviceable QB and his feet can keep the chains moving. The drops don't help. As the old saying goes if the ball touches your finger tips you should be able to catch it.

Did you watch the game last night?

The chains were not moving
...hardly at all.

Daniels is a subpar QB.

Yes. Did you? I saw Daniels run for a few 1st downs in last nights game and previous games.

Average at best. I never said he was great.
