He played tough and what he did tonight gave us the chance to win. But tonight was probably his least productive during night throwing the ball

When has it ever been "on"? Serious question.

Well, it sort of is since he was over 70% completion before tonight

People feel they have to tiptoe around saying he sucked.

Kid always pulls it together in crunch time and he protects the ball. WRs didn’t do him too many favors tonight.

Look at the reactions on the board. It’s a valid concern, unfortunately.

He didn’t do them any favors. He was flat bad throwing the ball. His running kept it going but he was awful throwing but that is part of the deal with him QB.

He ONLY attempts extremely safe throws. He knows that's why he's the starter.

But that's also killing the offense. Safe throws are fine but he can't read a D so he holds the ball much too long if a safe throw isn't there. He takes the snap, only then does he see what the D is doing, and if nobody is extremely wide-open, he either gets sacked OR immediately runs....into pressure.

It’s a combo of things.

Odd we run the ball better in the second half.
Odd Den gave Nuss some quick hitters. Did JD get the same calls and just didn’t execute?

We have to figure this out.

He had his worst game. Looked hesitant most of the time and needed to put it up more. But with that said, our WRs were terrible too. Many drops and almost no real plays made by them. I was very surprised by their play. Daniels did have some excellent runs though that helped in a major way (including the great cut on the TD run).

You madden players are completely blind. The longest pass we completed tonight from throw to catch was 6 yards. We have no qb whatsoever

He plays TN secondary next week

If he doesn’t have 4 TD’s and 400 yds I’ll be disappointed

JD is getting similar calls as Nuss, he just isn't confident enough to pull the trigger on those quick hitters. He's struggling a lot more than our fan base wants to admit. We won't beat any teams with good offenses. Their ability to score will put immense pressure on our O and we just have too many wasted possessions. We barely can move over midfield with any type of consistency.

The WR group is extremely frustrated and it shows in their play and demeanor.

On a side note...I'm also confused as to why so many balls are thrown to M.Taylor...kid has worst hands on team.

This is the thing.. those plays arent called to Taylor.. it is a pass play. He is literally the dump off man. Another words your last option if everyone is covered. You as the quarterback do not go to him first. Jayden went to him first multiple times. This is a sign of a quarterback not going through reads. This is why your receivers get frustrated.
