2,224 Yards Passing (70% completion rate)

24 Passing TDs (0 ints, be nice if that number stayed the same)

900 Yards Rushing (6.4 yards per carry)

8 Rushing TDs

No doubt these numbers won't hold, going up or down. But if these are the numbers that he ended the season with, and without looking at the win/loss record, would you think these are good?

I believe with the weapons we have at WR that any less than 3,000 yards passing is a travesty. Hell, he threw for 2,900 yards his freshman year at Arizona State. He also averaged a full 2 yards more per attempt that season. SOMETHING has to change in his game or the gameplan.

Both need to change.

Correct. He needs to throw guys open and trust his guys to make plays. Stop waiting to see someone WIDE open before he throws the ball. He’s been good so far but there are a lot of plays to be had. He’s not seeing it and trusting what’s there. Let it go young man. Let it rip.

I personally think he’s being entirely too conservative with not throwing into traffic. I’d rather see 5-10 INT’s and 3,000+ yards than 0 INTS and 2,200 yards. The team could win 9+ easily if he’d play more aggressive and let our WR’s make plays

He’s 3 games in under a new offense. Let the guy develop for a god’s sake.

We’re 2-1, should be 4-1 after two more weeks.

RELAX.

If we are being honest, that would be a garbage number.

Absolutely horrible! He leaves too many guys wide open! Damn the stats and the wins!

No.

Daniels is not a QB. He's a WR that somebody decided should be a QB in high school.

And even then he throws behind them or to the outside when the receiver is already on the sideline.

These WR's are making him look better than he is.

Obviously there are some positives in there (70%, no INTs, 6.4 ypc), but in 2022, if he averages well under 200 yards passing per game, that's going to be a bitter pill to swallow.

We're not some dominant, "run it down their throats" kind of team and we're certainly not going to do that against the better SEC teams on the schedule.

Jayden Daniels does not see the field. He is a tremendous runner, but if his first option (maybe the second) isn't there, he panics.

The good news is, he is super fast and has moves. So he is difficult to sack and often will run for a nice gain if the receivers are covered. Defenses also will be unable to play M2M against us because if the DBs turn their back and Daniels breaks free, he's gone.

LSU fans need to accept Daniels for what he is until Nussmeier or Howard are ready. And we need to recruit a passer for 2024.

This. Good news this is something that can improve with coaching and confidence in/familiarity with the system.

If we are being honest, he gave up about 200 yards not playing against Southern too. Put anoth 200 on his current stats, and he is on pace for nearly 3k

Daniels 1st TD to Jenkins #10 was behind him so bad he actually had to stop to catch the ball & was somehow still able to fight his way in the end zone

Burrow threw 6 INT’s and he had the most perfect season a QB can reasonably have. 0 INT’s all season long means that you’re not taking absolutely any risks downfield. I’m sorry if you’re too stupid to understand what I’m getting at. It’s not realistic to run an actual offense and not throw a single INT in hundreds of attempts

He's Jalen Hurts at Bama, but without quite the supporting cast.
