Was it Cade B. Or Drew Bianco that played OF last year. Would swapping Cade and Jobert be better defensively?

serviceable hs players? ha! I dropped one fly ball in my entire career, line drive hit on the nose straight at me, I still made a fielder’s choice out of it, that was in Legion ball

Holy shite!!! This is everything awesome on the rant.

He isn’t playing around either when he said this. Lol.

How about your tee ball career?

The team has been #1 in the country for most of the season when it comes to fielding percentage. They have a shite game and now the coach doesn’t care about defense

Defensive errors, terrible base running etc. It’s Jay Johnson’s MO, like it or not.
there was 53 downvotes but to the rants dismay, he has always been known for this style of play everywhere he has gone. Same at Arizona.

He does, which makes the pitching injuries even more problematic. The defense is going to be pressured even more now. Last night, overall, was one of the worst defensive games of the year for this team. I hope it isn’t a sign of things to come.

One player made two mistakes (one fly ball and one base running) that cost us 4 runs total. One error could have been called a base hit.

Just because two mistakes cost us the game doesn’t mean we played the worst defensive game of the year. But then again, you are rarely right on anything.

White misplayed a ball at 3rd

Herring over threw 1B

Thought Crews had a guy nailed at 3rd and he didn’t make a throw.

Jones cut off another ball on a throw from crews to home that should not have been cutoff

So no, it just wasn’t Jobert.

Worse pitching = more close games. The more defensive plays factor into winning and losing.

neither of these should be in your post.

Whites ball was being called a hit by both announcers.

Blaming Jay Johnson for Jobert missing a routine fly ball is just insane

The only reason Jobert is out there is because of his bat, nothing else. Beloso has DH locked down. Johnson excepts Jobert's fielding risks as a trade off.

Well they are going to stay in my post. That was not good organized defense. White’s ball was an error to anymore that watches baseball regularly. They are adjusting the expectations due to the player.
