He should quickly hire an attorney and file a restraining order against whoever the hell is making him sit.

This bullshite administration we have needs to be drawn and quartered.

Now, many will say that since Smart is the "subject" of these allegations the university has no other options.

But what if, just what if, this is like the Duke lacrosse scandal that should have haunted Alleva before we were dumb enough to hire his arse?

If they screw over Smart, why would he not say screw LSU and haul his arse?

I really would like to know why he is being forced to sit out? What did he do?

Why sit now. So we can vacate wins up until now?

We have no clue at this point.... BUT IF he did accept improper benefits he needs to sit..... But at this time he should dtill be able to play until results come in ............

If he had to be paid to stay home and play for LSU I don't feel sorry for him.

Dealing with the NCAA is like dealing with the Progressive left:

You are guilty until proven innocent.

LSU has to sit Smart until he is proven innocent. There is no "rule of law" with the NCAA.

We would apparently rather vacate he first 30 wins only, and not even give ourselves a shot to vacate a final four

Then he will be subject to discovery and having to sit and give a deposition under oath. Without a lawsuit, the NCAA cannot make him give testimony under penalty of perjury. Sometimes you have to think in reality, not a knee-jerk emotional reaction
