I think what he's trying to say is, as freshmen, they both had their flaws. As time goes, JL will get better... as JR did. Than again, maybe he won't. Point being... Lets decide after his college days are done.

Lee is a rhythm/confidence QB

you need to get him a few consecutive completions to build up his confidence... from there as long as he keeps his timing, drops, and release point about the same he will be effective and you can stretch the passing game vertically with him.

I though the OP had covered that

The good news is...reading defenses can be learned.

Translation for the idiot impaired: If JLee can get a handle on reading defenses, he's got a bright future. If not, oh well.

His release reminds me of John Elway's and Tony Romo's release. Not comparing him to them, but they are very similar.

methinks you don't know what the word "compare" means

I think that Jarrett Lee may end up being a better "pro" qb than Tim Tebow, Colt McCoy, and that kid from Oklahoma.

While I wouldn't bet on it, I do think it's possible he has a better NFL QB career than Tebow and Bradford. However, I think McCoy might have a Jeff Garcia-type career, sans all the bouncing around. And gay sex.

Man, everyone has a right to their own opinion, but better then Tebow, Colt, and Sam Bradford in the NFL?? That's a big statement that people will just laugh at. I mean are we sure at this point Jarret lee will even get drafted? I will not bash LSU players, bc I want them all to be sucessful here. I hope the guy really turns it around. We are going to need him.

i dont understand this criticism. there is nothing incorrect with this thread. this could very well be true--very much so. good god people love criticizing so much. stop trying to make up for insecurities by belittling and actually have an adult view on this. i totally agree with this "possibility"

I don't like the look in Lee's eyes when he is on the field.
