Wait, so your evidence that Lee can throw the deep ball is the Alabama game? The game where the Alabama safety had like 3 interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown and one in OT?

I bet what Miles doesn't want is to exacerbate whatever QB problem we have by constantly flip-flopping starting QBs, destroying each QB's confidence and setting up neither for success. If you attribute Miles's actions to his ego, then I will promise you that his ego is most satisfied by winning.

Miles - start there and ask yourself if our players are REALLY improving or is the talent and teaching that was instilled into that 2005-2007 with someone's leftovers lead that team to the wins he had. If his big thing is coaching the O-Line, then why are we continuing to struggle in that position??? I give up on blaming this one or that for our offensive woes. All I know is Gary Danielson was calling the Lee picks from last year before Crowton called the play -GO SEE THE BABM int that ended up inside the 5. I freakin don't care who says otherwise, Miles is ONLY looking to save his skin first and foremest

Which can ultimately only be done by winning football games, no? Seems like a mutual imperative here. The question shouldn't be whether or not Les Miles is trying to do what's best for the football team's success. The question should be whether or not Les Miles is able to do what's best for the football team's success. Personally, I'm going to refrain from figuratively taking a shite on his doorstep at this point considering we're currently sitting at 5-1 with a loss to the #1 team in the nation.

I got roasted how? Because MSUtiger doesn't like the stats that I gave and decided to say that they're not true? I've seen you and MSUtiger's dumb asses in every thread about Jarrett Lee and you say the same STUPID shite. You say that everyone else's arguement is false then agree with each other and give each other high fives like you actually accomplished something in the eyes of everyone other than you. Why don't you respond to all 5 of the points I made with valid arguements then I might say I'm wrong.

Why does JJ get a pass but Lee gets shite on? JJ has the best receiving corps in the country and cant throw for 200 yards a game. Our offense is terrible. If our defense was as bad as last year, we would be 2-3 and people would be on suicide watch. There is NO reason why our offense should be this terrible. JJ just can NOT get it done in the SEC. He shits his pants every time he takes the field. Lee may not be the answer but he may be a smoother transition for a future shake up like RS or eventually CG.

It's called having a fricking awful gameplan and one of the worst o-lines I've ever seen. How is it that Charles Scott went from 100 yards a game last year to 50 or 60 this year? It's not because he's not as talented or had an injury, it's because the offensive line is terrible. I'd shite my pants too if I knew I was going to get hit literally 15 times a game.

I think he deserves a second chance too and I agree with you, but I don't think that he deserves the full starting role to bench JJ. The point of my starting this thread was to rebute all of the false arguements going around about why we have to have Lee in the game, not make Jefferson look like a superstar. Their stats really aren't all that far apart other than INT's as far as scoring goes and I don't think one can handle the job better than the other at this point.

We will never win a BCS championship with JJ, bottom line. And that, my friend, is the goal here at LSU or at least it should be. We should compete for a National championship every year.

Ok thanks, and BTW can I borrow your crystal ball sometime? I mean surely you have one if you know for a fact that we'll never compete for a national title with JJ. It's not like he's a 19 year old still developing mentally and physically with good speed, a good body type, and a good enough arm for his style of play. NO potential to develop at all right?

you sure can borrow my crystal ball, I use it all the time. It is called common sense. Some people have that "it" factor and some people do not. The JJ we see today can not win the west much less the ship. Can he get better? Of course he can but can LSU afford to stay where we are at right now and take his growing pains. When does this start to affect the way the media and future recruits look at our program? Why not give someone else a shot just like we did last year with jefferson so we dont have to go through another year of being slightly above average.

The only way to find out is to see how Lee does behind the same offensive line.

QB are an important part of the TEAM. It would really help if the Offensive Line would give him better protection and more time to execute the plays. It doesn't matter which QB is in there they need protections.

did your crystal ball predict matt mauck and matt flynn to win championships? My guess is no after watching them replace davey and jamarcus who put up superior numbers...

Jefferson at QB gives LSU the best chance right now at a NC. If you don't know that, then I won't expect you to be a talent evaluating expert at LSU anytime soon.

There is some strong Koolaid being drunk by some posters on this group. Jefferson is the best QB right now on the rosters. The sports writers know it, the coaches know it, the players know it, and knowledgeable LSU fans know it. Guess who that leaves for drinking the Koolaid?
