He's the best hitter on this team outside of Crews. Beautiful swing, fastest bat speed on the team from the looks of it, solid vision, absolutely mashes the ball. Real excited about this guy. I don't think we realize yet how big he is for this lineup. If he plays everyday, I would not be shocked if he leads the team in homers and RBIs. (this is not based on today whatsoever).

He is very good mechanically and overall yes he is excellent but we have a few hitters better than him. LSU is spoiled with riches

Jared Jones is a fricking MONSTER. A slept on MONSTER.
Just bookmark this thread and let's come back and laugh in a couple of months when he's leading the team in HR and OBP.

He has the ability to be the 4th or 5th best hitter on this team, which is still really good.

Without him having a position this year it's tough to see him playing enough to lead in some categories. Nothing suggest that he isn't a great hitter though. I just expect DH to be rotated a decent amount, although Jones may get more ABs than any other DH.
