Guy needs counseling or something. work hard for 7 semesters and then flunk out of school ? Professors would give some credit to a kid that was in his last semester of school. He must have pissed some people off during his time here.

Did he really flunk out? All I'm seeing is one class failed and ineligible for the season. Just so happens this is his last season.

I watched a story about him on TV. The point of the story was how devasted he felt about last season. He started the season hitting cleanup but had an awful season at the plate. It really got him down and his parents were worried about him. It was a feel good story due to the good season he has had this year at the plate... Especially the first half of the season.
And now this? I admit we may not know the real story...but it sure smells like he just quit going to class. Why not finish what you started? You went to class and made passing grades for 3 1/2 years and you can't finish one last semester? Especially for a season like this and the possibility of going to Omaha? It just does not make any sense.

Well...the young man isn't graduating. I suppose one failed class will make you ineligible. I have no clue how many earned credit hours he has under his belt.
I would imagine that if a student is a senior in the spring semester, then he or she is on par to graduate. Apparently, that is not going to happen. you figure you can get the benefit of the doubt with a particular professor if you are having trouble in one class. Summer school I guess ?
