19 in the remaining 12 games. The more highlights I watch, the more stats like these I see, I still can't believe that just happened. So glad to have him and Marshall back to help Brennan with the transition.

Yep that's crazy. Through the first 2 games he had 10 catches, 169 yds, and 1 TD. In the 4th game (he did not play week 3 against NWST) he had 10 catches for 229 yds and 4 TD alone.

That receiving corps was a revelation. The line, as a unit, was the same. Burrow was Burrow.

Those guys raked in all those awards for a good reason.

Gonna be fun to see these guys working together after Brennan gets full time with the #1s. Brennan's cannon throwing at Marshall's speed is a promising thought.

Ehh I mean outside of a handful of plays, the only reason the OL won their award because of Burrow's production.

Marshall was leading the NCAA in touchdowns when he got injured if I recall. Or at least the conference.

All I know is whatever WR drills were used last offseason, they need to keep doing it.
Everyone wanted to blame the QB the last decade but our WR's had a ton of drops over that stretch of offensive ineptitude.
Whatever they did in the offseason worked, this WR crew last year didn't drop many at all!

The WRs drills helped a lot but the last decade had more to do with Scheme and QB play.

I disagree. I think part of the reason they looked pedestrian at times was because of Burrow's confidence in himself and in them. He knew he could make a play and he knew they would make a play, just sometimes it didn't work out. I don't know that any individual players stood out but that line, as a unit, deserves their praise.

My opinion. Not saying you are wrong, only that this is the way I saw it.

He was also 21/32 (65.7%) 20+ yards down the field. 11 of those completions were for TD's. That means 52.4% of his catches downfield resulted in TD's. His number of incompletions were also the same as his number of TD's.

They did a few new things that I had never heard of such as wearing peripheral blocking glasses and a certain door drill that was discussed on this board a while back.

Add a shiteload of juggs and we've got ourselves a ton of offensive records.

First I’ve heard of the peripheral blocking glasses and door drills. Can someone explain this a bit more?

I think it's a lot like Drew Brees making his line look a little better than they actually are.

That being said, I think they deserved the award.

Yeah, mine is an easy opinion to have after the season ended and we see the result. Easier to make pieces fit after you've seen the picture.

Still, neither look good if the other doesn't perform well.

Maybe Burrow only had that production because of the Oline?

Yep. Until he got hurt, Marshall was leading in TD receptions with 4.
