He may be a really nice guy, but you do understand that JaMarcus was among the most spectacular failures in NFL history. Just because he wore our jersey for a few years doesn't insulate him from criticism.

Well, sure. That doesn't really warrant the venom that HuRicAne Miles is showing. It's just bizarre. I can't imagine a player's professional failures angering me to the point of hating him. It's his life and it has no bearing whatsoever on mine. I'm just going to assume that JaMarcus feels a twinge more disappointed that he failed than I do.

That may be true and I have no problem with him being criticized... but if he wants to take another shot at it let him. He's a tiger; therefore, he has my attention and re2pect.

I hope he gets another shot and makes the most of it. Not because he played for lsu, but because I love to see someone redeemed. It is one of the few things that brings me happiness with regards to humanity.
