You are fricking dumb. He only had the single greatest qbing season in lsu history in 2006. Being a draft bust has zero effect on the college.
My thoughts of him being broke have nothing to do with his performance at LSU he was a great QB here, And I have never said otherwise.... Everybody on here has a cow about what LSU players have done at the next level when its good, Well in JR's case he sucked as an NFL qb. Sorry folks DON'T want to talk about those things......

I'm like wtf a 200,000 dollar car that kill all notions bout this guy being broke any time soon.
Just because he's driving that car doesn't mean he can truly afford it. Actually, it tells me that they guy has no clue how to protect and manage his money.
That's just all flash, and no common sense. If he wants a really expensive car, he can drive a $70k Mercedes and save the extra $130k.

1. I don't have to prove anything. The onus is on the douche that said JR is going broke.
2. Look up. Someone else proved it for me.
3. You're a fricking idiot.

No one is denying his NFL career was a dispointment you fricking dolt.

How did 2006 prove anything?
That he had the single best season of any lsu qb ever.
QB RECORDS JRUSS SET IN 2006
Tied the passing td record
Single season completion percentage record
Most completions in a season
Most consecutive completions
Highest completion percentage in a game
Highest qb rating in game
JRUSS' LSU CAREER ACHIEVEMENTS
The only qb in lsu history to lead the team in back to back 10 win seasons
Finished 3rd in lsu history in total yards and is 1 yards short of 2nd place.
2nd in career passing tds
2nd in career completion %
3rd in career completion
3rd in career passing yards
JRuss and DBowe have the most pass- catch tds in lsu history.
JRuss is a great LSU player any way you want to look at it and has a case for the best qb in lsu history.

Well it still proves you came into the thread ready to bash someone who said something negative about an LSU player without any proof.

What? Its common knowledge that JRuss wasted talent. BUT its also the organization that he was drafted by. Many great cfb players have withered and died in Oakland.

Hey man not here too bash the guy at all BTW his mom has the Mercedes. The guy is doing great things in the community an he has inspired my son too make it too the NFL. My son is committed too a DII school an he said JR inspired him too be great at the game an school. Jamarcus rewarded my son an others with new bikes if they make honor roll. Jamarcus also is coaching little league football in the area in which he funds an furnished all the equipment. I have a lot of other stories like these but it would take hours too write. The kid is a great guy an inspiration too those youth, who dream of success which he has gained an we are trying too reach!

He would have done the same with any other team. IMO..... Like the old Steve Miller song says" Take the money and run"

If you make a statement about something, its on you to prove that statement. There isnt one shred of evidence that Jamarcus is broke or close to being broke except for dumbasses on here that want him to be broke because it helps them with their miserable lives.

No, it doesn't. At all. But you don't seem to get the whole "proof" thing or how it works in relation to making an assertion such that tensasparish made, so I'll cut you some slack.

I'm not even vaguely mad. It's the internet. I don't know any of you people. But you seem really upset that I'm sticking up for a former LSU player, though. Might be because you don't actually have any connection to LSU and probably aren't actually a fan.
ANYWAY...I was just making a general statement that you're a fricking idiot. Because you are, indeed, a fricking idiot.

There have been MANY huge busts. Ryan Leaf and Tony Mandarich immediately jump to mind.
Its difficult to take JR defenders serious, when they come across as being so stupid
Leaf nor Mandarich were the first players taken in an NFL draft. Neither were paid what JR was paid (including inflation).
Translation: JR is the biggest #1 draft pick in NFL history

You have no idea of thats true.
What we do know is that Jamarcus Russell's first full season qb rating is higher than all but 2 of Marc Sanchez's season qb ratings. The difference is Sanchez had a team around him his first few seasons. When JRuss was in Oakland he had olineman that didnt weigh 280 lbs.
I agree that 80-90% of fault is on JRuss but he did go to a team that had no one.

I know this is somewhat off topic, but only like two or three of those guys were worthy of being drafted #1 overall.
Dwayne Bowe was in the same draft class as Russell? I thought Bowe was earlier than that.
