Actually for Football reasons. I don't this his style fits the Saints offense AT ALL. This system is based on quick, multiple reads. This is not JR's game. From a football standpoint, his career would be better served elsewhere.

Other than being unmotivated, what other character issues does he have?

And since you're such a deep thinker, what character traits can be determined from necklaces?

Thanks

Not sure if this question is directed a me...but all those diamonds and that big Bama Boy necklace everyone saw on the sidelines after he signed the big contract was embarrassing.I was like, oh come on JR...What the heck is all that nonesense... It just showed his immaturity.. It's silly and foolish IMHO.

Some say It's a "cultural thing"....and it's perceived by many , people who do such thing could be a "potential problem" child... fair or not

Why flash all that bling? And then be unmotivated to back up the cash you demanded?

The fact that you want to show off your bling but not your skills is a Character issue...Many people of Wealth (took a lifetime to earn) do a great deal to hide it..

Drew Brees was wasted drunk at the saints parade and Tom Brady got a girl pregnant who he then left

clearly they have major character flaws also

bash his onfield play all you want, but the unsubstantiated personal attacks are stupid and nowhere near necessary

Mobile Waffle House assistant manager baby, here we come!

Big difference between QB PHYSICAL and MENTAL attributes, that's why I laugh and roll my eyes when all these clueless recruiting geeks get all hot and bothered over star ratings or when LSU recruits a QB that can "Run Real Fast" or can "Throw a ball 80 yards while on his knees." .......

....after winning the superbowl....

What the hell kind of point were you trying to make?

Drew Bress has been a savior to New Orleans and the Saint's organization. He selflessly gives back to this community and won the Saints a superbowl, can he not revel in his accomplishments one night?

Jamarcus wins 10 Superbowls with any other team besides the Raiders, hows does that justify 40 million dollars for 7 wins and a #1 pick and his performance as a Raider?

And if JaMarcus goes on to win 10 Super Bowls with another team, what does that tell you as far as whose to blame for his lack of success with the Raiders.....especially if the Raiders continue to be one of the worst teams in the league?

I do agree the Rant is pretty much a shithole now.

It used to be a great place to come and talk LSU sports.

How is believing Jamarcus has been a failure and disliking his somewhat dis of LSU "not understanding?"

I understand. Russell doesn't show a lot of love for his former program. Russell has been a failure. I respect the hell out of what he did at LSU but he isn't at LSU and doesn't seem to have a connection to the program anymore, outside of a negative connotation.

Russell really is no longer connected to LSU. I appreciate what he did. I don't judge him now, on what he did in the past, just like his past isn't tarnished by what he is doing now.

I was making a point to apextiger regarding his apparent character issues that I've never actually seen

Why does it bother you if he doesn't have a connection with lsu? He doesn't owe lsu anything and if he doesn't want to have a connection then so be it, it's not a big deal. I somewhat understand the negative light it casts on lsu, but that's just because it's fresh

do you always associate Penn state football with Courtney brown when you talk about how big of a bust he was? No, because after sone time passes, no one cares

I'm not sure how old you are, but point is, I don't know long you have seen LSU football.

I just want you to know that many former LSU football players think current players DO most certainly owe LSU something.

Jerry Stovall flat-out said so to a group of players. An awesome speech.

But, there is an old-school thought, and the new generation thought.

For the record, yes players do owe LSU...they gave them a great opportunity and a great experience.

Marcus Spears would probably agree too.

it's great to see former players supporting the program, but they do it because they love it, not out of an obligation. They really don't "owe" LSU anything...in fact, I would say LSU got more out of the relationship than most of the star players did.
