Randall Cunningham, and on a local front Anthony Hargrove. How about Michael Vick? Also Doug Flutie.

JR was a bust in college. Several of us recognized it, and we were lambasted. Everyone told us that we would finally recognize his awesome talent when he got to the NFL. He laid an egg. Meanwhile, Matt Flynn is still in the NFL and will be YEARS after JR's NFL career is played out.

Mike Williams was a first-round bust and has revived his career in Seattle.

Wow. Are you serious? You must not follow the NFL. It happens all the time.

The Saints picked up John Carney last year. He had been out for a while.

We picked up Mike McKenzie during the season.

Very common with Kickers and QBs.

Chris McAllister is another one with the Saints.

True but not many with JR's attitude have made it back. Most of those guys had a "strong want" to be an NFL quarterback.

It is up to JR. He will get another opportunity, if he has the want to do the things necessary to make him successful in his endeavors.

sure. it happens more with FA's who bump around.

a kicker gets picked up two years later, figures it out and hangs on for a while.

a kick returner, plays in Canada, comes back, makes the team.

sure. it happens.

Quite possible the dumbest thing ever said on Tigerdroppings. And that, in itself, is saying something.

I say if he plays again, he throws 5 passes the rest of his career.
