Look for this guy to have a great season next year. He looked very good in the spring game before he got hurt. Love Foster and what he’s meant to the team but he hasn’t brought much to the passing game this year. We need an explosive TE to help spread the field and hopefully Jamal can help with that next year.

Agreed, and I think he’s already back to practicing

Agree. I was posting that he was going to be the next OJ Howard after the Spring Game.

It would help this offense quite a bit if he is even 75% of what OJ Howard was at bama

For those who do not recall, Pettigrew was a higher ranked recruit than Irv Smith in the same class...

I wonder how much of that has to do with the QB throwing him the ball

I wonder what it might be like with him and Moss together. Could be dangerous to have a dual TE set.

It's not like he's gonna get the ball. How long have we heard of RB's and tight ends more involve in the passing game. Irv Smith for Alabama is tied for 2nd in the nation for TDs among tight ends. See the difference in coaching here. Mcmath tore it up as a tight end for the ole Miss game and we haven't heard a peep out of him since. Instead its QB sweep right, QB sweep left

I was eager to see him this season and hated to hear he had hurt his knee. Hope they utilize this guy like they should next year.
