How about Corey Thompson? He's a fourth year junior, has several starts and should be healed from his injury two years ago. Time for all of these athletes we've been recruiting and coaching to step up.

Fractured fibula can mean several different scenarios
1. Proximal fibula fx - meaning by the knee - 4-6 weeks
2. midshaft fibula fx - 4 weeks
3. distal fibula fx - "by the ankle" 6-8 weeks
4. fibula avulsion fx - at tip of fibula below ankle - is essentially an ankle sprain 2-4 weeks. assume that is what his mother is talking about
Reporting a fibula fracture is very generic.

Was Mills approaching the LSU most starts record? Just saw a scroll on screen that he has started 39 games and hadn't realize that...Wow

While I don't want anyone to get hurt, why are you holding so worried about an offensive skill player going down? We are loaded at the skill positions, minus QB. WR might be the deepest spot on the team, and we have a stacked backfield as well.
Dural, Dupre, Chark, Diarse, Quinn, and Tyron Johnson are all more than capable of stepping in and playing a bigger role than expected and all will get a lot of PT. And Cam Cameron has said that as well.
And we are set at RB as well. Obviously LF is the man and an elite talent, but DWill has shown he's more than capable to receive a lot of work. Guice is a major talent as well and has been tearing it in camp and will have a big role for us. He's too good to keep off the field and he will be taking carried away from LF and DWill Ducre was an EE and has left a great impression on the coaching staff at both RB and FB. And by all accounts, Brossette has looked good in camp as well and has impressed as well. Very patient and smart RB that does a great job at setting up and reading his blockers.
And again, I don't want to see anyone get hurt and hope they all are 100% for the entire season. But I'm not worried about the depth at RB and WR. If something happens where someone will miss an extended period of time, we have more than enough talent to compensate for them not being there. We will be fine.
Now if you would have said "I'm holding my breath hoping that none of the front 7 on D get the injury bug", I would have agreed 100% with you. But we have a lot of depth and talented depth at the RB and WR spots.

In comes Dwayne Thomas. Perfect fill in cover wise for mills. Adams and Jefferson will be one hard hitting tandem. Adams all over field. I like the name for those two as lightning and thunder

He's started every game since he came on campus.

The fib isn't weight bearing if I'm not mistaken. Or is it the tib?
It has been a long time since I've take an anatomy class.

Tib is the major weight bearer. Jack Youngblood played in a Super Bowl with a fractured fibula.

Unfortunate
the OP should change the title of this thread. kleinpeter reported he had a fractured bone before an x-ray was taken.
so bullshite reporting gets us to this point where the whole world thinks it's broken when the x-ray results came back last night and they were "positive" meaning it was only a sprain per his mom.

I hear ya but still hope for full health for all the skill guys. When injuries start occurring to the hosses, it can have a negative psychological effect on the rest of team.....the "we can't win without them" mentality.
