Jakori Savage: Will he contribute at all?

One of the rare occasions that an OL moves to DL as usually it’s the other way around. I was curious to see if y’all think he will ever play this year besides just in garbage time. If Shelvin and Ika get worn out at NT, could he be someone to possibly get a few snaps in relief there?

Getting moved to any foreign position this late in your career is not a good sign. He’s going to be behind everyone else with experience at the position. However, he might be an interesting option up the middle, trying to block field goals.

This, it's more so the coaches way of telling you "you probably should go elsewhere if you want to play"

He’s an extra big-body guy for goal line and special teams. I don’t see him cracking the two-deep at either nose or end.

Jakori plays an important role on the team. He’s the guy in every picture after a win next to O and his wife singing the fight song. Seriously go look and I bet you 9/10 times it’s Savage right there next to O after every game. It’s a little weird.
