I like #16 and his career 1.295 OPS.

Fraley is already a great MLB prospect. If he doesn't try to put it all on his shoulders in 2016, he could be an All-American as well.

While I am a great fan of Wally Pontiff,
Eddy Furniss and Todd Walker's jersey should be retired
first or at least at the same time.

Well, you don't need to understand it, as it doesn't involve you.

I think Walker's will be eventually. He's in the LSU HOF, the CWS HOF, and the College Baseball HOF. He was the national freshman of the year in 1992 and the CWS MVP in 1993. He was a 3x 1st team AA and SEC POY in 1993. Really the only thing missing from his resume is the Golden Spikes, of which he was a finalist. He's the best college baseball player LSU has ever had, and there really shouldn't be an argument. He may not have had the raw talent players like Belle did (not that Walker didn;t have talent as a 12 year MLB career is impressive), but in terms of pure production, Walker is the best we've ever had. He was both consistent throughout the regular season and clutch in the post season when it mattered.

I think the K-Lady bought it. It probably is hanging from the wall in her bedroom and she looks at it every time she and her husband have relations.

I think Todd was an all-timer, but some context is warranted. In terms of pure production, you still have to put Larson in the conversation. His OPS was crazy, the 40 home runs were only 12 less than Walker hit in three years, and Larson's 118 RBI is a preposterous number that Walker never approached (only over 100 once).

Walker did it consistently for three years, but Larson's 97 season is the best season an LSU Tiger ever had.

Larson had that good stuff. No one beats Walker though. Period. Not close. With or without context.

I don't dispute that, but if you want to add context you also need to add context of the fact the bats were juiced as hell when Larson played, and...steroids....cough cough. That entire 97 starting lineup hit 12 or more homeruns. Walker's lowest batting average for a season in 3 years was .393. THAT is absurd

You did say in terms of production, though. Larson's '97 production is unrivaled. More hits than Walker ever had in a season, more hrs, more RBI, higher ops, 3 less games. Just saying.
