Why are we still waiting and seeing?
Because shite happens
I’ve already told you Tennessee is better in my opinion
They were also the best team by a mile in 2022 and didn’t make Omaha :lol;

We waited and saw this weekend what happened between Jay and Tony. Tony made multiple incorrect decisions that cost his team the series.
So you think Auburn is better than LSU and Butch Thompson is better than Jay?
Noted lol

Jared Jones had been playing like shite for 3 weeks, then went crazy this weekend.
I didn’t see this. He was 4-for-12. 2-for-8 Fri/Sat
I wouldn’t classify that as going crazy

So you think Auburn is a better team than LSU, with a better pitching staff than LSU and with a better lineup than LSU, right?
Well that’s another dumb argument. Better to look at the season’s as a whole.

You bitched about Jake Brown hitting third on Sunday and he blew the game open.
False, I have literally been the only one advocating all season for him to hit behind Jones and in the heart of the order. Like, the only one

BINGO
Correct. In which LSU currently stacks up better than Tennessee. Kind of splitting hairs here because both are good lol.

He then went 2-4 again on sunday, reaching base 3 more times. Including inducing a pitching change and drawing an intentional walk. That's a great weekend in the SEC.
Context matters, remember?
quote:Nah, context matters. Kade Anderson gave up a routine fly ball that resulted in a 3 run triple, and a 5 run inning, because Auburn is 380 to dead center. LSU hit the ball hard all weekend right at people. shite happens.
So you think Auburn is better than LSU and Butch Thompson is better than Jay?
Noted lol
quote:I can say the stuff about Auburn toungue in cheek because LSU is a better team than Auburn, has a better record than Auburn, and has better numbers than Auburn. The same can be said for LSU about Tennessee, despite playing a harder schedule than Tennessee. Nothing supports your position that Tennessee is the better team, besides MLB draft rankings and home runs in small ball parks.
I’ve already told you Tennessee is better in my opinion

You bitched about who Jay would put hitting 3rd. Turns out he once again made the correct decision.
Are you going to acknowledge that Tony made multiple mistakes this weekend?

But you said he went crazy
Same guy who called him a “star” and now he’s fallen further down MLB draft boards
Ever think just maybe you give him too much credit? Maybe because your fandom can blind you from realities
This caused 3 losses? Wow
Uh, no. They got mowed down by Sammy Dutton and company
Except plenty of people out there believe it
Is Texas better than LSU? Certainly they are, right? I mean they beat LSU and have a better record so impossible for anyone to suggest otherwise, yeah? Moreover, it had to mean that Schloss is > than Jay and Tony, probably put together amirite?

Erroneous again.
I think it’s laughable that Jay continues to trot out Frey and Pearson in the heart of the order in SEC play. I mean there’s really no way to justify it other than wishful thinking.

I didn’t see that but admittedly I didn’t get to watch every pitch Sunday.
No coach can account for dominating a Friday game for 8 innings behind a stellar performance on the road by your ace, to them have a guy boot a couple balls that would end up giving the game away at 1:20am in the bottom of the 9th.
Is that mismanagement? I thought they looked like the better team for the first 17 out of 18 innings of that series when it was best on best. You’re free to disagree.

lol no they don’t.
LSU has a better record, beat them head to head and is ranked higher in every poll.
If any of the above were not facts, maybe you’d have an argument. But they are and you don’t.

Didn’t realize they ran out their JV team
Sunday. If they only have 2 pitchers worth a shite, they aren’t that good huh?

Coulda woulda shoulda is an argument for a person that has no argument.

Apparently Tenn has two decent pitchers and no bullpen. That’s not Tony’s fault. The sec shouldn’t make them play 3 game series. Especially after they had to play until 120am Friday.

Ok so Texas is better than LSU and will make a deeper run, right?
Wanna place a wager?

Or maybe they have injuries they’re working through and a couple of the arms they typically rely on had subpar outings

Where have we seen this before

Best versus the best? Baseball is played in series for a reason lol. How good your third pitcher is and the rest of the bullpen matters drastically on the strength of the team.

They’ve had more subpar outings than LSU that’s for sure. Maybe they’re just not that good
