I have no problem with Stevens trying to find some way to get on the field. This is how you keep him from transferring.

He may also transfer if he feels like the coaching staff can not develop him properly to get to the next level. How can he possibly feel like that's happening when he's moving positions every other week, and still not playing by the way? At best, we just put him back at his proper position but also wasted half a season of development.

The safety spot was earned by Delpit. Another freshman. Are you going to take that spot from him just to put Stevens on the field?
Stevens should have been able to take the position from Gage.
In no way am I defending O, but I gotta believe Stevens is trying to get playing time now.

He's closer to field behind Delpit than behind Chark, Gage, Dillon, Sullivan, Davis.
