I've created a monster. This might be the most worthless 14 page thread on the rant all week...unless Jones goes 0-3 against Tulane tomorrow. Regardless, I'll go ahead and issue a public apology. Sorry guys. At least it provided a little Monday afternoon reading material.

Do you think Jordan Jefferson would have been a good pitcher? He had a good arm...

The initials "JJ" draw the protection of the rant. Jacoby.. Jordan... you are safe.

Johnny Jones.

Josh Johns.

All the bests are JJs.

JaCoby is a potential top 50 pick and arguably the best athlete in college baseball.

Potentially, yes. But he won't be.

Unlike a guy like say, Jared Mitchell. Who struggled early in his career & actually got better. He had the numbers that in the end, represented his 5 tools. Jones doesn't. Unless he catches fire no way is he a top 50 pick.

Not at all.

He still gets on base. And he is not hurting the lineup.

If I had to guess, JaCoby is probably best suited to be a catcher at the next level due to his lack of offense and his stellar defense.

Only if he plays on the same team as Ty Ross because he should be DHing for Ross.

what do y'all think about Jones?

JJ will be fine, its baseball, he brings plenty to the table just like Ross, both solid starters.

I think he could be the same type of professional player Lemahieu has become. Utility INF player that can't hit.
