We could put Foster at 2nd, he does have a BA of .500, OBP of .571, and a fielding% of 1.000. You know, since stats are all that matter.

Not permanent, just for a midweek game. Clear his head

If he were struggling mentally, i'd have no problem with a "shake that shite off" game. The problem with your premace is this though, it's simply not a mentality issue. Jacoby is crushing the ball only to have it caught, he's working counts, he's drawing walks, it's really not a Jacoby doing/ thinking the wrong thing issue. They will eventually begin to fall.

You are the one screaming for him to be replaced, we are asking you who should he be replaced with? You obviously know the ends and outs with this team. Surely you know who should replace him.

easy you look to much at stats and don't look at how he plays on the field.

who is a better baseball player,

through 5 games guy is batting .100 but half of his outs are hard hit balls either a deep fly ball to the warning track, a hard grounder stopped by diving plays, and a couple of strike outs. Makes all the routine plays, and has had a couple of difficult plays no stand out though. Has stolen a base.

another guy is batting .400 but they are all bloop hits, have found holes, in the field he has already had two errors on routine plays, no incredible plays, and has very little speed on the base paths.

former or later.

Jones hit .253 last year

47 strike outs and .303 on base %

not good either.

Are you by any chance a politician? "Something should be done about this."

"What should be done?"

"I don't know that answer but it seems obvious something should be done."

Baseball is a game of % and he has a better chance putting the ball in play than riding the pine I dont think he will be on the bench anytime in the near future.

So what I get from you is that every starter should hit over .300 with an OBP over .450. Am I right?

Well lets hope those "line drives" he has been crushing for 1.5 years start falling soon.

Again, I hope they do and he becomes the player he was as a freshman I just don't see why you guys are so against giving someone else a chance. He has not produced this year especially up to his potential at some point you have to try something new..

i do find it funny that PM bench Trey Watkins and seemingly cut him the next year. He was having a year just like this. High walk rate, few hits, and tons of K's.

shite the whole rant wanted him out too. Its funny to see so many people defend Jones

He's walking at a much higher rate this year and striking out at a slightly lower rate. #stats

Then I guess you could give us the name of someone the bench at LSU that would give us a better chance at winning than Jacoby? I'll wait.
