1Q—4th and 1 from Auburn’s 32. Tigers had their best drive of the game going (would’ve scored a TD on that drive for sure).

Les decided to go for it. Playaction fake from JaMarcus, and he hit Hester on a short pass. Enough for first down, but the defender slapped the ball loose. Originally ruled catch and fumble. Would’ve been a 1st down, until refs review and change the call.

Jacob caught that ball, baws. That was just the first of many BS calls in that game. This play has pissed me off WAY more than the Doucet non-PI call at the end of the game.

Let’s beat these assholes this weekend.

Hey not trying to hijack your thread or anything, but on a positive note we could reminisce about the games where we beat their arse.

How about those 2003, 2009, 2011, 2013 and 2015 shalackins we put on them?

Yes he did but it's still a loss. 2006 was a National Championship potential team.

LSU got robbed man. that game was the one game I TRULY felt the refs were helping the other team. so MANY blatant missed calls. Yeah, the PP interception in Tuscaloosa was probably the worst single call. But that Auburn game would have definitely had a different outcome if just one of those calls had been correct. I'm getting pissed typing this

Hester also scored the TD against Florida in 06 that would have out them up 14-0

Don’t forget 2001 in December. Rescheduled because of 9/11.

The band coming down the hill in darkness is an epic scene.

Started with the onside kick after Auburn got the pregame penalty for stomping the eye.

My exact thoughts.
I don’t think that game will ever be topped

Yes he did.

No one will ever convince me the referees of that game were on the up and up. It was beyond disgraceful.

That was the only game I've ever seen where "poorly officiated" was too gross an understatement to have been applicable.

The only word to describe the refs' impact on that game is "rigged." It was nothing short of it.

This game cost us a National title appearance. We may still have lost to Florida a few weeks later on the road, but no way they would’ve beaten us in Atlanta. That 2006 team was rolling at the end of the season

That was a worse call than the Doucet play.
