I was talking to another TEs family, he’s considering the same.
We have TEs considering transferring? Who the 6’7” skinny kid that we landed who was a Colorado commit?

LSU is about to have a TE room that will run off everyone but Mason Taylor

Kole Taylor doesn’t appear to have developed much since he made it to campus.
Mashburn is an extremely limited TE.
Who is the fourth string? Storz?

How do you know that’s true. I call BS

Bech leaving as an upperclassman and a guy who has started multiple games this season., plus we are losing Boutte and Jenkins…..must be some major tampering going on in Bech’s world right now

??? Whom does SC Gamecocks have that’s going 1st or 2nd QB in an NFL draft…?

I’m so sick of reading LSU fans trashing ours players. And as of today Bech is an LSU player. To pretend we have any idea what’s going on behind scenes is stupid. If he transfers next week so be it. But why start this shite tonight?

Can you tell me with a straight face that JD is maximizing the offensive talent around him?

No loss at all, he and Nuss will make for a nice combo at SMU next year

He’s not, (you could also say that about every QB we’ve had the past 20 years except Burrow and maybe Mett) but what he lacks in that area he made up for with his running ability. It’s a trade off.
Besides, let’s not act like our receivers didn’t have butterfingers all year.
Can you honestly say that you believe we would have a better record with Nuss? (I only mention him because Howard was NEVER going to start this year and even if he had, I highly doubt we would have won more games).

Maybe he knows JD is returning

So your hypothesis is he’s leaving because JD might be returning even though there is no guarantee that he is returning or that even if he does, he will be the starter next year (I mean if Howard is the second coming of Christ like a lot of posters here claim he is, surely a god fearing Catholics like Kelly wouldn’t deny the savior).

WR is overloaded
People need to stop repeating this, because it’s not actually the case.
We’ll be strong at WR again next year. Nabers, Thomas, and either Kyren lacy or chris Hilton or a true freshman. Again—very strong group— but that is NOT “overloaded”. Strong at the top, minimal depth.
After next year, when nabers and Thomas bounce… we’re left with zero proven guys. You hope that one of the guys in this incoming class can step up to be THE guy as a true sophomore, but that’s just one guy. The odds that we’ll have multiple guys in a single WR class—even a stacked one—who are legit difference makers as true sophomores are low. We effectively have zero WRs in our current freshman class. So losing a likely 4yr guy in the class above HURTS.
The bottom line is that we’re unlikely to be WEAK at WR anytime soon. But it’s not even remotely accurate to say that we’re overloaded. Losing bech would be a huge blow to depth.

Man, you are absolutely massively overrating Bech lol. Among programs in the top half of the SEC, the absolute ceiling for Bech is a solid-but-unspectacular slot option. If you think that there are programs with big-time NIL money who are banging down the door to give that money to Jack bech, you are being wildly unrealistic.
