What is his expertise? He would make a good replacement for an exiting coach?

Exactly. Jabbar >>>>>> Ensminger. I don't have any info. Another poster from TOS mentioned that he would be a good replacement for Ensminger if he were to leave or any of the coaches that might make a jump to the NFL. With the news that 2014 recruits from the Monroe area are looking OOS, having a young coach that connects with in-state kids would be an improvement. Hootie Jones, Cam Robinson, Cam Sims have all been rumored to have strong interest in leaving. We got to keep the fences fortified, fellas.

A year ago Diarse, Smith and Beckwith were all rumored to be leaving the state.

I know Ensminger is a favorite whipping boy around here, but he is not the reason these guys are considering leaving the state.

Easy now! Can we at least have him for two or three years before the so called elite teams steal him from us
In all seriousness I think the Juluke and Tim Rattay hire were huge for Coach Holtz. Juluke with his New Orleans connections and impressive high school coaching resume and Rattay having been one of the best college quarterbacks of his time and his NFL experience will pay huge dividends. Rattay has an extreme knowledge of the game. Was basically a coach on the field in college. I really think he could have been a great NFL quaterback if the breaks would have went his way.

Juluke is a New Orleans Guy. I don't know how he would help with with kids more so than Frank Wilson.

Juluke + Wilson is overlap. Plus Wilson is a guy that has coordinated our recruiting efforts while simultaneously being our best recruiter.

That is no small effort. Its a dizzying Administrative Effort to coordinate all these guys going out on the road and seeing these kids. But you add into that going out there yourself to reel them in, lock them down, put out fires, etc? TOUGH.

Juluke may get there one day and he's got an excellent situation in Ruston going with a lot of offensive knowledge to learn from and a staff with some polish.

From folks who know, he'll need to learn the Administrative, time-management aspects of the college position coaching game along with putting a few pelts up on the wall from the recruiting game before he gets more prestigious looks.

But he's on his way.
