Explain offensive philosophy, and at the very least have some sort of specialty and identity of their offensive style. My question is who or what is Les Miles identity on offense? Run straight up the gut over and over again and hope our guys are stronger than their guys? Throw it as far as you can and hope our guys catch it? Seriously? What is his coaching specialty for him to deserve that nice paycheck? Recruiting is nice except for linebackers, and quarterbacks, but that's besides the point. I want to know if I can find on the internet a video of Les Miles conducting a coaches clinic or explaining some of the plays on offense! Plenty of ridiculous quotes and talking in riddles, plenty of let er rip, having a want to do this and that, coming in 2nd speeches, but NOTHING to give me hope that we are in good hands when it actually comes to out scheming the opponent! I'm disappointed in our program right now. We have one of the best programs in the nation in steady decline and being laughed at, but since we have a nice guy with personality then I guess it's okay. We don't need any more championships and exciting football right? In fact, I hope when Les retired we go after that deez nuts guy or maybe Will Ferrell.

The only thing Les really says is balance.

He'll discuss the want to run and the want to pass, etc. But balance is what he says he wants.

The offense has an identity problem. Pro set but with dual threat QBs. Power running and then 4 wide - and not situationally.

Identity problem is an understatement for sure! The whole nation and people who don't even care about football can recognize it. I'm disappointed that we didn't move on.. I really thought everyone wanted change, but then came the overwhelming support? What are we bipolar as fans?

His strategy is to see how many TE's and FB's he can fit into an unbalanced formation.

I think that "overwhelming support" doesn't actually exist.

people act like There is no going form one to the other

As soon as you take off and run you are doomed to never know how to drop back and pass.

Well first you need a QB that can at least run or pass. Then we will work on the dual threat part.

Harris never ever "takes off and runs" unless it's necessary.

The fact that he's a dual threat has zero to do with his QB deficiencies.

Watched the whole video and I found it to be very elementary besides maybe him with the offensive line. That still doesn't prove he can call plays, attack the weaknesses of a defense, and make adjustments on the fly. He hasn't even mastered clock management and avoiding penalties..

Les learned his offense at a young age when his dad gave him one of those early 60's electric football games. He went on to play at Michigan where Bo put that traffic jam style of offense into actual human practice.

Les can't help himself... he's got a psychological hangup. He hasn't progressed past his good old days.

Hey man, the majority of LSU fans in that stadium in the south end zone stadium club were all GLAD and ready for the change.

It was a nice sething and most people were chanting for les to be nice and send him out with respect.

When we got back to the hotel and watched the announcement, we were all shocked as hell and disappointed

This is not over and will rear it's ugly head after a bowl loss or the first loss next year when we end up with the exact same scenario and bullshite offense

Funniest post of the night, probably because I am old enough to have had one of those things. Best part is that every word is probably true. All those plastic pieces on that vibrating table all piling up together in a log jam. That's LSU.

Man I hope you're right because even the wins are becoming increasingly painful to watch. It's like we win off of pure luck and better athletes. Come time for the heavyweight matches we look like a circus show .
